  • kartofelnij folklor :D

  • Awesome, long live Grand Duchy of Lithuania, may the Belorusians and Lithuanian, even Ukranians and Latvians be all brothers again. Ehm, maybe Poles can come too?

  • Co tu gadać uwielbiam tą balladę, z którymś razem zrozumiałem prawie cały tekst:)

  • Brawo brawo. Napisałbym po angielsku ale... po co :). Wspaniała pieśń o zwycięstwie z 1410 Królestwa Polskiego i Wielkiego Księstwa Litewskiego z wsparciem innych narodów wschodu.

A pieśni piękne i chwalebne.

  • Wojska nasze wyszły i hucznie pomknęły

    Koło Grunwaldu w szyku staneli

    Nasi Bogurodzicę, Niemcy Dasticht zaśpiewali

A z armat gruchot i trzask głośno rąbali

Chociaż to drugie niszczy rym ;).

  • Slava!

  • I can't get enough of this

Świetna pieśń, świetne wykonanie, ach to mieliśmy siłę...

  • uwaga uwaga, mam tekst!

  • Nic trudnego zroić sobie transliterację metodą "kopiuj-wklej" do jakiegoś edytora tekstu i z pomocą "edycja->znajdź/zamień" oraz jakiejś tabelki w Wikipedii... ;)

    Cлава!

  • Czy ktoś, kto rozumie tekst chociaż mniej więcej mógłby napisać o czym śpiewa? Jakiś tekst?

  • I speak Russian though understood few words....

  • Well, I'm Polish native speaker and I can't understand few words, but I understand, Ithink, most of them and I get the sense of the ballade ;).

  • Could someone please provide a translation of this, its a brillaint song

  • yes, i have the translation! only with help from a great russian friend!!! in english, german and russian ... because the lyrics are in ukrainian!!! Wolin Festival 2009 ...

  • You're wrong, lyrics are Belarusian ;). But I believe that Russian man didn't recognize it. Anyway, if you really have lyrics in English and German - you could post them, at least in English. Then most of interested people, who don't know Belarusian/Polish/Ukrainian/Russian and don't understand Belarusian could understand the ballade ;).

  • the lyrics are not modern belarusian. they are in old Lithunian - the language spoken in that border area wich now belongs to poland/belarus/lithunia/ukrain/russia.

  • It IS Belarusian. I don't know how archaic, but it's not Old Rusian (or Old Belarusian or however you'd call it). It isn't, for sure, "Old Lithuanian" - Lithuanian is Baltic (and not Slavic, however it's very probable that Baltic langs are related to Slavic and vice versa) language. Language spoken in Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was Old Rusian/Old Belarusian/Old Ukrainian/Old whatever East Slavic language...

  • is this song about or at least related to Battle of Grunwald? hehe stupid guess i think i heard the word "Niantze"

  • Its rly about that epic battle. Text is wonderful. It honers the Great Dutchy of Luthuania and Poland warriors.

  • maybe you can translate it , or at least a little bit ?? ;]

  • You've heard "Niemce [nyemtze]" what in belorussan (in polish similar "niemcy") means "Germans". And name of this song is "Grunvald"skaya Bitva 1410" which means "Battle of Grunwald, 1410". Cheers :)

  • Congratulations for all Belorusan, Ukrainian and Polish brother from Lithuania!

  • There were also russians, czechs and slovaks(from Spiš)

  • It's great to see that not all of Lithuanians were converted to polish-hating attitude due to communism... Well, brotherhood of our countries should be as it was in Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, when there was no distinction between nations within borders and everyone had same rights. But ofc. Russian Tzars got the idea of ruling other slavic and baltic nations and ruined whole panslavic idea. And then communism came and caused irrational hate among our nations.

  • @Abbss666 Poles and Belarusians had a good relationship? Poland then betrayed the Belarusians and captured them. Belarusians do not like the Poles for the occupation when the Poles held Belarusians in slavery. Russian also remember the Polish occupation. the Poles killed more than half the Russian population.

  • @turbokurvaagent007 brainwashed retard, russians totally owned your selfthinking. Under Commonwealth white Ruthenians was creating they culture. Russian occupation tottaly destroyed White Ruthenian cultural separation. And if you want to know who was killing population during russo-polish wars, read for example about Trubecki genocide, and its only a small part of russian genocides only in this part of history.

  • @mumapredator You're a brainwashed! The Poles occupants have made the genocide of Russians Belarusian and Ukrainian people! You killers of Russians women children and elderly in 1612! we will never forget your crimes! You killed Russians soldiers in 1921, more than 30 thousand!

  • @turbokurvaagent007 OMG what and idiot, you know that from that piece of shit russian movie 1612? And in 1921 we killed only 30k? We killed hundreds of thousand those barbarian communist invaders! Poles never maked a genocide but for sure many of our enemies deserved for it. Russian bitches dare still to spitting your lies, murders of all slavic nations.

  • @mumapredator Film?? you're a fool ???))) This is a historic fact, after the Polish occupation of the Russian lands were devastated, Russian ethnos was on verge extinction. You crafty bastards! You not killed in battle Russians soldiers! You killed Russians soldiers in captive 30 thousand, you fiends!

  • @turbokurvaagent007 Well if things that was in a phantasy film 1612 are for you historical facts... I show your some facts. War started in 1609 was an answer to your agressive politic against Commonwealth, you was always agressors trying to grab our lands and always making genocides there. Poles never had more than 60k soldiers on your territary it was enough to crush your 200k pity armies, but no way to to devastate whole land, it was your armed bands curing their frustrations

  • @turbokurvaagent007 And once more about 1921,ofcourse we killed hundreds of you only in battles! Your captured soldier had better in your camps thqan in your armies they had food and shelter, many when the war ended stayed in Poland, some died because epidemies, what is normal in such hard times. In your camps died half of all polish POWs what you say about this? Poles have honour they never killing unarmed, not all are like you russian idiot, how you can be such a layer.

  • @mumapredator Russian soldiers died from disease ho ho ho ho ho))) I did not know that there are diseases like shooting and torture))) You tell her grandmother that the Poles did not kill millions of Russian. WE REMEMBER AND NOT FORGET THIS NEVER! Poles like Bandera killers!

  • @turbokurvaagent007 ofcourse they died from disease (especially that they hygene was very poor) no matter what your propangandist looking for casus belli will say, and the one who was torturing and shooting in the back of the head was russians. You can lie all your pity life, nobody will believe in your pathetic russian propaganda. Keep compromitating yourself, you doing that good.

  • @mumapredator Do not deny it from its bloody history of the Polish lying ))) Hitler wanted to destroy all Poles and Gypsy as the most lyings and vile nation on earth.

  • @turbokurvaagent007 Hitler wanted to destroy Jews, Gypsys, russians(mongoloids), then the Slavs, i see your notion about basic history is very low, well i did not except history knowledge from a russian nazi-bastard. Most of your history is a shame so your goverment lying history and you are a victim of this proceder.

  • @mumapredator Russians is the most light-eyed nations in the world)) gray eyes have only Russians Latvians, Lithuanians, Estonians and Swedes, Polish Mongol Jew))) No, Hitler hated Poles, Jews and Gypsies. because Hitler said that the Poles are a mixture dirty Slavs and dirty Jews))) only Jews Gypsies and Poles, by decree of Hitler in Europe must completely die like rats))

  • @turbokurvaagent007 You must be a 7 years old naziboy, or a redneck. Russians are mixed mongol- asiatic tribesmans and they have pig eyes, Hitler wanted to anihilate all russians so wermacht was killing all russians on their way, that why more than 25kk ruskies died during the war. Your idol hated scumbags like you almost so much like Jews, but its no problem for an idiot like you. You are funny as much as you are pathetic.

  • @mumapredator Lol I'm southern Russian))), Hitler said that southern Russian descendants Ostrogoths))) Hitler, unlike Poles did not want to destroy all the Russian population, only 60% unlike dirty Poles who were completely 100% die)) in world's gray eyes have Only 6 nations are Lithuanians Latvians, Estonians Russians Finns and Swedes in unlike of the Turkish-Mongolian Jewish pigs Poles who do not have gray eyes.

  • @turbokurvaagent007 Oh really? Hitler had a plan to anihilate all russians and give those lands for germans so you should be a pig for slaughter, if the nazis should win. That is fact ofcourse you can still pray to him, atleast you are and idiot:) And what the fuck have eyes to deal with anything? I think you have very low iq and no knowledge or skills so you curing your complexes by creating theories about magic grey eyes, but you cannot trick reality stupid lowlife.

  • @turbokurvaagent007 And atleast i have blue eyes so comparing to your eye-theory im an ubermench and i have right to enslave or kill you subhuman. So you se you are a scum deserving only for a utilization.

  • @mumapredator See Generalplan Ost chock)))) Russian ethnos would stay alive in unlike to the Poles))) Destruction were to be only Slavs and Lithuanians. About Russians nothing written in terms of destruction only assimilation. Because we have a Germanic name Rus gray eyes that means people are the true representatives of the northern race. People who came from northern Europe.

  • @turbokurvaagent007 If you say so that means you have no notion about nazis plans about russian people ant territories. Its true that Vikings enslaved some east slavic tribes, they did not fight them like west Slavs was doing. And you as a Russian are proud that other enslaved your nation, or wanted to completely anihilate it, like Hitler de facto wanted, and colonize east Russia by 80-85% of polish population.

  • @turbokurvaagent007 @turbokurvaagent007 If you say so that means you have no notion about nazis plans about russian people ant territories. • @turbokurvaagent007 If you say so that means you have no notion about Hitlers plans about russia. Look some sources for example plans to settle 80-85% polish population to east russia, rest for the germans, there was na place for russia, all know it you for sure too, but as a nazi you trying to fool yourself. And yes east slavs was enslaved by vikings, not like west slavs who fought them.

  • @mumapredator ha ha ha ha stupid, you Slavs were slaves Vikings, Russians and Vikings lived in peacefully, Prince Rurik was son Russian woomen his daughter Gostomysl, we'll invite them in Russia. We, unlike the Poles do not have rabbit hearts)))

  • @mumapredator ha ha ha ha stupid, you Slavs were slaves Vikings, Russians and the Vikings lived peacefully, Prince Rurik was son Russian of his daughter Gostomysl, we'll invite them in Russia. We, unlike the Poles do not have rabbit hearts)))

  • @turbokurvaagent007 East slavs like you ofcourse were Viking slaves, one of them Ruryk created your country. We West Slavs fighted hardly Viking invaders, so they stopped they tryings to conquer.

  • @turbokurvaagent007 I hate the Germans, I hate the Slavs! because my grandfather was a Pole and a Ukrainian woman, my grandmother spoiled my Russian gene pool! "

  • @turbokurvaagent007 What the fuck have you been smoking? Your Polish grandfather was a Ukranina woman - what like a tranny or something?

  • @turbokurvaagent007 Rurik was invited from Old Prussia i.e. not Scandinavia but Baltic Lands, read the original historical sources and stop thinking Westernn and Kremlin propaganda shit like that are the real history. In Old Prussian Rurik literally translates as "Warlord of Rus" : Ru Rik.

  • @turbokurvaagent007 listem stupid boy enjoy the music stop talking crap -by the way iam Polish 6,6 tall blond hair ginger beard and grey -blue eys so please tell me pure blood boy what the fuck you bubbel about?

  • @turbokurvaagent007 hehehehe wow i wonder who made a deal with hitler? you know why Poland didnt go with Germans ? ciz we had signde deal saying do not attack and start war for next 15 years or so ,same with germans read some books before you spit your lies, and by the way poles at the moment are more pure in term of nation than you if i would be you i would worried about muslim in your country -thats new treat for whole europa

  • @mumapredator Russians never kill women and children, only monsters Poles and Western Ukrainians murderer! Another historical fact every 6 soldier in Napoleon's army was a Pole! You always wanted to destroy the Russians! You dirty bastards! It's a pity that Hitler did not destroy you (((

  • @turbokurvaagent007 Most of victims of russians were children women and elder people! You maked most of genocides in worlds history, get some education, not only from your drunked politic comissars. And think why Poles joined Napolen, they had reason, that reason was your agression and participation of Poland together with your germanic brothers. And, yes everybody know that Hitler was russian ally long time, be proud of this bitch.

  • @turbokurvaagent007 for your knowledge a joint study of Russian scholars from St. Petersburg and Moscow universities that lasted six years and included a team archaeologist, geneticist, historians and linguist published their results recently found that modern Russians ( Ancient Muscovy Principality) are 60% Finns, 30% Turkic and only 10% Slavic and Russian language have a lot of words that are actually of Finnic Turkic and Bulgarian origin. The only eastern Slavs are Belorusians and Ukranians.

  • @Qongrat

BUllshit. I read a lot of papers on genetics, and they directly contradict your opinion

  • @szopen76 search for an article on » Приморское Телевидение и Радио at ptr-vlad.ru and then argue.

  • @szopen76 here is another, but this is Ukrainian so you will probbably dismiss it unless you have an open mind - НОВГОРОД ОСНОВАЛИ ПОЛЯКИ at aktualii.org/content/social/84 in front of that.

  • @Qongrat

I argue that Russians somehow have 60% ugrofinnic blood. I've read several papers which found out, that ethnic Russians may be divided (genetically) into two groups: one, indistinguishable from Poles (the paper compared only Russian, German and Polish population) and second, which is somewhat distinct and had larger influence of native siberian population.

I've read it already similar articles to the ones presented by you some time ago.

  • @szopen76 i.e. so you’ve read the articles that support most or at least some of what I said; not only the ones that directly contradict what I said. However, you think that the ones that directly contradict what I said are true while the others are false? Hmm, ok, sure whatever. You’re entitled to your opinion, thanks for sharing.

  • @Qongrat

Well yes. Of course it is possible that the reason is that I don't understand all Russian and Ukrainian and as such, usually I get only the general meaning, and I miss sometimes a word or two. However, On one side, I have scientic papers published in peer-reviewed academic world press. On the other hand, I have polemical articles which are published locally. As such, I have no problems with deciding which should I trust more.

  • @szopen76 If you are talking about the western scientific peer review literature – they can be wrong on so many things. Just one example, it is worth to note that the same scientists, who write that stuff, ignored REM sleep for at least 40 odd years as a freak accident and said that there is no such thing despite the contradictory reoccurring experimental results. Good luck with your readings. But I think most Russian scientist are a lot more advanced than western counterparts.

  • @turbokurvaagent007 they were not russian only bolshevicks plus who staretd this war? your fucked up tovarish Lenin-jev by the way ;-)most of the soviets were run by jew

  • Wow! That's a wonderful song! This guy can sing so well. Beautiful beautiful beautiful!!!

Respect from Lithuania to our Belorussian brothers!

Best of luck and fame dear Ruthenians!

Laimės ir šlovės jums mieli gudai!

  • Jest ktoś, kto mógłby umieścić cały tekst Ballady? ;)

Anyone, who can add whole lyrics of Ballade? ;)

  • Ha! Sam znalazłem słowa owej ballady, jej tytuł "Грунвальдская бітва 1410", a tekst poniżej ;)

Ha! I've found the lyrics of ballade myself. Ballade's title is "Грунвальдская бітва 1410", and the text below:

  • Silmethule, could you send me the lyrics in english? Thanks

  • Oh... I would have to translate it from Belarussian (I don't know this language, but I can understand most of lyrics) and I don't want to... Maybe someday, but I'm not sure if I'll do that. If I will - I'll send them you ;).

  • Silmethule, thanks again for the Lyrics, I have finally posted them under the info of the song, but all of the credit goes to you, without you finding them I would not yet have them posted! :D Thanks again!

  • Thanks, but order of lyrics is wrong in description, it shoud be (first words of each stanza):

Слаўлю адвагу | Меўся ордэн | Таму варта хутка | Гвалт крыжацкі | Войскі ўсе | Нашы Багародзіцу | Так літвіны смела | Смела з літвай | Шалёна, мужна | Твар да твару | Страшны хруст | Шум і звон ад | Прускіх дзесяць | Нашы колюць | Дзідамі там | Нашы моцна, смела | Колькі міль за | Хутка вестку | Ўдзячна па касцёлах

  • Thanks you, I just realized that last night, I will be reordering it once I get back home! Sorry for the mess up! :P Thanks again! Take care!

  • Now the order is OK, but you lost these stanzas: Нашы моцна, смела | Колькі міль за | Хутка вестку | Ўдзячна па касцёлах ;)

  • Haha, I apologize for this my Friend, can you please message me with the correct lyrics with all stanzas? My knowledge of Cyrillic is limited, so it is not uncommon foro me to get ordering wrong. I tried to hear the music and read along lyrics at the same time, but wasn't able to check over the whole song! :) Thanks for all your help, sorry it has been so complicated on my end of things.

  • THANK YOU! :) Great to see the lyrics, even if my knowledge of Cyrillic is not the best. :P

;] pozdr.

  • this is a Grunwaldska bitva 1410

  • I love this band:)SLAVA!!

  • What is the name of this song? 0.0

  • Slava!!!

  • SLAVA BRACO!!!!!!

  • SLAVA!!!

  • i wish i could understand him

    what language?

  • I believe it may be Belorussian, but am not completely sure. Wolin takes place in Poland, so maybe its a Polish arrangement as well. Wish I knew my Slavic languages better :(

  • As a Pole i'm tellin' you - it's not polish language ;) Actually im living near Wolin (in Szczecin), and I love this festival. Świetna ballada/great ballad ;)

  • Yes, I know, it was just to say, I figured it was not, hahaha. I know they are Belorussian, but am not great with Slavic languages, I only have studied German so far, but plan on learning some Old NOrse and Slavic. That is Great you live by there! I wish to vist someday! I admire how they did the Stone for Magda this year, even if by invitation only. SLAVA!

  • It's great that You want to learn Slavic language :)

    Where you come from? :)

  • I come from america actually, haha, but would Love to live in Europe some time.. I wish to eb a European Linguist, I am currently trying to finish up my German, then I want to learn Russian, Polish, Belorussian, Norwegian, Old NOrse, Middle High and Low German, Gaellic, etc.. I Love Language study as you can see. :)

  • Wow, man, you got lot of work! ;)

I have learnd old norse runes - futhark, and my norse language education stooped :D

    Good luck!

  • Haha, indeed I do! But I Love our European Heritage and Traditions, the languages are all very Beautiful! The Runes are a very amazing thing to get into, and the best part, you can never completely learn them, as a new aspect or new thing is revealed day by day! Do you follow the indeginous Norse Faith then?

    Thank you!

    Anwend

  • Well, a bit into Nordic Faith, but Slavonic is beautiful also, and, you know, more familiar to me, so I try to discover this Mythology.

In case of runes - exactly. Especially, that there are lots of versions of futhark.

    Pete.

  • Excellent! That is very Great though, no matter! I particularly follow Odinism as my ancestry is for the most part Germanic. However I Love Slavonic Heathenism, as well as those of the Celts and the like. I wish to learn more of Slavonic though, here in america it is VERY hard to find books on it, I know only some things from talking with Folk such as yourself!

Indeed, I would Love to learn all the various forms of the Runes, would take a long time, but be well worth it!

    Anwend

  • Holy crap, what is Heathenism? ;) It's the first time i read about slavic things in english, so I don't understand :P

Anyway, Oden was mighty, but sort of god of death. Interesting, that rune "algiz" which was rune of Thor and symbol of man and life, turned by 180^ gives us rune of Oden and if we put it into a circle... a Pacife!

Fine that I can help You. :)

    Pete

  • No problem, that is understandable. Heathenism is a term I don't use often, but is used to describe both the People and their Faith of the various tribes during christianity conversions. Odin is God of many things, things of Light such as Wisdom and at the same time God of such things as War. It is crazy how it is the peace sign when turned down and a cirlce put around it. Algiz is a very powerful Rune.

That would be Great, I know very little, so it would be nice to learn more

  • Oh, I see. Yes, many slavonic gods are now "demons" in christian faith, especially in folk, you know. Many old pagan saint places and Holidays were adopted to Christianity, firstly - to make pagans believe, secondly - beacise of lack of invention to make new saint places :)

And yes, Odin was god of all those things, but you know - he was antagonistic to Thor.. and, er... god of war, when his rune is the same as pacife.

Well, I improve my english, so I can talk with you. ;)

  • Indeed, much like many of the Old Gods. Even in Odinism they are demonized by christianity, even if christianity has taken a lot of their tales and concepts from them, just like they have from many forms of Heathenry. Christianity is a lazy religion, and most christians are ignorant to these facts of the Old Gods being adopted by christianity.

The Rune is only the modern peace sign because the hippies turned it that way.Now that symbol is misunderstood to this day because of that.

  • Yes, you're right. Most of christian, but not everyone - I'm christian, but I try to reveal old Faith. Is christianity a lazy religion? Well... not, but people don't understand, that ceremony, pictures of god - are just people's imagination.

Symbols and symbolics are misunderstood - i.e. the Svastica - which was symbol of Good, at all (fire, sexuality, Sun, goodness etc.). And now? People say: 'you got svastica! you are a nazi!'. Terryfyfing.

  • I wasn't meaning every christian, but for the most part, yes. But most christians don't realize that it has taken a lot of its stories and the like from the Pagans of Europe.

Exactly, very well put, and I hate how that is too. For my Faith it represents a lot, yet whenever I have on or people see my woodburning and one is on it they think I am some Nazi, and each time I have to explain it over and over again that it is a Holy Symbol of my Ancestors.

  • No, it is not polish language. But people from poland may understand it, beacuse our languuage is quite similiar to belorussian, but of course we can;t understand all of text song. And... with tet on paper it's much easier to understand :P
