The light is the CO2 sensor. The seats are leather and slippery, I am wearing my belt. I wasn’t anywhere near the van, it’s an optical illusion that you get with a camera. The steering on an NSX is 3.6 turns lock to lock. Similar to a tractor. Because there is no power steering. I bought the car to drive it, not baby it. I have put 170,000kms on it mostly in the hills. No wonder the gearbox is worn out. You haters would also have a worn-out gearbox IF you had an NSX or other decent car. The squeaking is the clutch pedal, the pin needs grease. The sharp vibration is the left window at a certain rpm, its needs adjusting, windows are a big problem on NSXes.
The car is mostly stock and handles very nicely but at 1:10 I really needed 1st gear. If I had left it in 2nd, the front end would have washed out because I would not have had the power to balance the car (2nd gear =very low rpm at that slow speed). There are other cars and motorcycles on the road and I assumed one would be coming the other way, so I definitely don’t want the front end under-steering me across the lanes.
These are all 1st gear corners for the NSX. 2nd gear is out of the question. Jeez, the NSX will go faster in 2nd gear than most of you are allowed to drive anywhere. Try it sometime. If you can.
Look at 0:52, I’m shifting from 1st to 2nd at 6000. So I was going through the hairpins at way less than 5000 in 1st. Whoa. What, do you guys suggest I go through the corner at 4000 like you and your grandmothers? Look at 1:25, also in 1st gear and only 5000rpm. 5000 rpm is nothing for this car. Try your own NSXes sometime. I’m not even anywhere near the red line when I downshift into 1st.

@ninjafatballz Honda didn't put power steering in to save weight. Only the autmatics came with Power Steering. Once your at speed you really don't need it. sure your arms will get tired.

How the fuck are gonna grind the gear stop shifting soo much??!!, know your point of entry, setup, executed proper shifts higher power band allows you to stay in lower gearing in turns and hairpins!!! Or you'll end up killing your sync rows!!
Sometimes you have to cross your hands, but I don’t lose it even though the rear end is drifting a little on exit, my rear tyres were shot. With the ridiculously very low steering ratio of the NSX it is difficult to get back end back if it goes way out, it’s happened before and you need to be very alert and quick. Near the end I almost touched 160, you can hear the wind noise. It’s a nice road in the Alsace. I will be at the NurburgRing next week on the 18th July.
I AM double clutching in every single downshift. Next time I’ll position the camera so you can see my left knee. The gearbox was already shot before I drove this road and the only way to downshift in that car is to double clutch. I have ordered a lower 2nd gear and the stuff for a gearbox rebuild. 2nd gear is way too high for those corners so I had to downshift, the hair pins are sharper than the video shows, 1st gear is right.
Your check engine light is on and your bad is making some awesome noises. When was the last time it was serviced? Sounds like it needs grease or something.
No offense but your shifting is excruciatingly slow, you dont need to go to first (the C30 has great low end in second) and you were eating the synchro's by going to first in the first place.

If i recall, the older NSX = too peaky with 2nd gear too long, therefore 1st gear is required for very tight corners.
