  • I am very thankful for the resources. An IIT standard of teaching is what being able to be perceived.

  • I agree. Although sometimes one cannot understand all that they are saying, to an american teenager like myself, I find these videos resourceful because they are the only ones on YouTube! If it weren't for people like these, this resource , especially for materials engineering, wouldn't be available. I appreciate this convenience, as should everybody else! :)

  • i thought there was a 10 minutes frame..

  • @EpicSmartAss think again :D i was 2 hour documentaries in here.

  • Thank you for sharing this video. I find myself frustrated for not understanding about a quarter of the words spoken. Very neat accent! But trying to learn, and trying to translate that "dis" means this........... wait, what was that word?

  • Be grateful of what you learnt from the nice Indian Lecturers. They taught us in English which most english teachers cannot do!!!

  • lots of argument here about video and textbook learning, why not use both? different people---diff learning styles. You can also watch this video on your own learning pace with MySpeed from Enounce.

  • Most of the NPTEL videos are theory based, though some of them do have small pratical demonstrations too. But u c, in this case there cudnt possibly have been any practical demonstration of the theory.

  • u can read a book!!

but she is not reading a book.she is reading her own notes.besides isnt it a good change to read from a video rather than normal books!

  • u know what!

i think u r right.all these people used to lift stuff from foreign authors..starting from 11th when i was doing physics!either HCV or haliday resnick.

  • I totally agree. Torturing to watch this. We have the books, useless lecture.

  • Hi,

She is not reading from a book, if that is what ur referring to by this lewd remark. She is simply looking at the lcd display kept in front of her. That screen is vissible in most NPTEL videos, bt is covered by the dias in this particular video.

  • Great, helped me a lot, thanks!
