@graymalkin1234: that's certainly possible, but at the time I made this hack nobody had really figured out how to connect the nunchuck directly to the Arduino without disassembling the nunchuck. Now you can get a WiiChuck (for instance) and do it as you describe.
The computer was necessary to handle the bluetooth pairing with the wiimote and send the joystick data to the arduino.
So how do you use a standard servo PWM signal?

Why not use the arduino to process the values from the nun chuck and skip the PC entirely
