Beauty is in the eye of beholder indeed. I find this kind of exercise so unnatural. I dont feel the flow and rhythm in the movements. All breaking apart. Am I seeing things wrong here? The good ones...I can feel the power within the soft and graceful movements. Just a thought. Thanks for posting it anyway. No taichi taste?
very different performance in various ways, some of which i have not seen before. i loved it anyway though.
who taught this man and what is his lineage? can i get more detailed information on hwy his postures are done the way they are please. very intersteing in deed. thanks.
Looks similar to Northern Wu Imperial Taiji, this set is NOT fast, it takes Master Yusheng Wang 25 minutes almost to complete. Very impressive Yang style! Ho Gong Fu! It is spread over 3 videos here.
This is considered quite fast compared to other masters, most traditional taijiquan forms takes up too 15 minutes to finsh while his only takes up 9! ....pretty damn long if you ask me though, I stick to the Beijing 24 form taijiquan for health n theory. only takes 4 minutes, much easier lol
This is not fast at all, it is very slow whole set nearly 25 minutes, I think you thought whole set was performed here in 9 minutes. Nothing of the sort, the set is divided into 3 videos. Just FYI.
Simply beautiful. All of Li Ya-xuan's students look great; a real testament to his skill and teaching ability. In the clip above, the "needle to the bottom of the sea" movement at 4:40 was the most interesting version I've seen yet. Good stuff.
his stance is very low, so i imagine his knees being like iron and thus more martial.
Grandmaster Ip Tai Tak described this in his interview. im learning yang 103 by Yang Jun. Where does the 118 (or extra 15moves) come from?
