When Christ died on the cross he told St. John "Behold your Mother." I'm sure this was not for St. John alone, but for all of us. At Cana she asked Jesus to help them when they run out of wine. Yes, Mary has no power, but whatever she asks her Son, he cannot refuse her. If only you could hear about her miracul cures.

@waylandgirl1 Then why didn't Christ say "Everyone, behold your mother" ? Why cant Jesus refuse mary? Salvation is NOT in mary. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has absolutely nothing to do with Mary. None of the Apostles ever mentioned Mary in their Epistles. Jesus never directed us to recognize Mary. In fact, the Bible clearly states in Matthew 11:11 that there has never been a child born amongst women greater than John the Baptist.

You need to have a stronger faith in God. You can obtain this by praying the Holy Rosary. The Rosary is better then having a loaded gun in your hands when it comes to a weapon. It is a contempletive meditation on the life of Jesus Christ. You meditate on the mysteries of Jesus's life. You can obtain the virtues by praying the Rosary. God wants you to have faith.

The Rosary originated from St Dominic and I don't know the year. It was inspired by the Blessed Virgin for the salvation of souls. The Lord taught just to pray the Our Father in the Bible. I am not sure what book but ifI have to find it I can. My question to you is are you Catholic? I don't understand why you doubt the Lord's mother? Just because something is not in the Bible does not mean it didn't happen. I strongly believe that there has been sightings of our Lord and his Mother.

In the old times after Christ the bible was expensive and the only reach man can bought a bible so how about the poor people? thats why Mother Mary showed herself to St. Dominic and give him the book and the book was expensive too.. so the catholic church makes a prayer thats easy to memorize and the idea was coming from the book that MOther Marygave to St. Dominic. That is a good question. I would assume they were in Heaven as it has been stated that when they died they went to Heaven. Some of your questions I do not know the answer to but have you heard of the Holy Trinity? The Father The Son and the Holy Spirit? Well when the Father saw how bad things were on earth he sent his only son which was the Father in the form of the son. The answer to your question would be in the Holy Trinity. Jesus was always in Heaven.

Jesus have also said this:

It means: Jesus < His Father

And You say: Jesus = His Father

I disagree with what you are saying. I think you should read more on the Holy Trinity. I am not a priest but I think you should bring this question to a priest. He would probaly give you an answer. God wants to tell you that you are doing a great thing, but you are missing one thing. The New Testament, read it.... It says in there, "The only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ." Mary was just a human like you and me...she CANNOT hear you when you talk to her. In fact, she is in heaven right now worshipping Jesus. Mary has NO godly powers. God just used here as an instrument to give birth to his son. GOd is using me to tell you to read the holy bible.

Thanks for your concern PianistCor! The only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ and God is so generous that he wants us to participate in his salvific plan. Mary effectively intercedes for us only because God included her just like your pastor or your spiritual adviser is being used by God as instruments of His love.

In Revelations, it says there that in heaven the prayer of the saints goes up to God like incense. It says in the Bible to that the prayer of a righteous man is great in its effects. Because of this beautiful things, we are encouraged to ask the Saints in heaven to also intercede for us now that they are in heaven and cannot be distracted by worldly things.

t is the same thing for people who asks their pastors to pray for them knowing that always strive to be closer to Christ. One good image that Dr. Hahn uses to explain this is the image of a family, we cannot love our earthly father completely if we do not love our brothers especially our mother. As one big family, as members of the Mystical body of Christ, we should recognize our union with our brothers and sisters even those who are in heaven.
