I'm actualy an 'EAK' (East Africa Kenya, Scottish parents)... the main problem is that the sound is recorded on the camera rather than a remote mic so a LOT of wind noise at times... Duncan the PUT (Pilot Under Training) had 'trained' with the BHPA for TWO years... 40 mins flying before switching to me! YouTube search "G-BZJI" for more clips some with less background noise.

Hello, ya , when I watched the video again I realised that the wind was an issue but the dialect is still difficult for me. We have a handfull of paragliders here in Port Townsend Washington state and I just made a video the other day , check it out on muserwood. Keep up the great work.

the Dual Control system I designed has full overide and an auto disconnect if the PUT pulls too much brake, more than a few of the students have ended up with 3-5 hours airtime on their first day training!

Nice Video! It seems to be a really good idea to give your knowldege to your students like this. They can learn to fly in a safe way because the instructor is controlling the flight.
