The easiest way possible to get thi skull is havin the envy skull activated as well (via glitch), but it pretty much takes all the fun out of it. I recommend it only if you have tried the hard way too many times and you're beginning to lose hope. Because using the envy skull unlimited invisibility glitch works everytime.

(I've tried getting this skull in almost everyway possible, but I find it the most challenging and fun to use the save the marines tactic, and most easy/boring with envy skull)

theres also a hidden message in the skull room, like with the Blind skull.There is a placard of a skull, which means that the skull is there.And there are two placards, one with a 1 and one with a 7 underneath which means the 1 out of 7 chances to get it.Strange that its explained nowhere, not here nor at Halo Nation.

This one is tricky. Down the alley where elvenkratos get pwned by a sniper, at the very end, is where you can keep marines trapped. Just box them in with boxes and stuff, and block them in by all sides, except the one facing down the alley. Give em snipers and stuff, because this helps a lot with distracting Elites.

ALSO, always have the Sputnik skull activated. This makes your melee 180º them around, so a quick punch or rifle melee will kill em instantly.

And to those who don't know, this skull makes the A.I. say funnier dialogue. Its hilarious, actually. Me and this skull have a lot of bad experiences, and i somehow beat it after about an hour.

Here is a good way to not spend your life on it. IMMEDIATELY after the skull spawns, take extreme caution with your next actions. Try whatever it takes to get ANOTHER checkpoint after it spawns, so if you die, it stays there.

The reason you want the Pistol is to TANK their shield, making sword kills EZ.

1.(continued) Here is how to set up your base.

a. Put two medium sized boxes, doesnt matter how, at the entrance, on the top step, side by side evenly. They have to block off that doorway. This only lets elites with one weapon to jump over it. Those mofos with Dual weapons cant scale it for whatever reason.

b.(optional) There is but one more entrance to this base of yours. You can block it off with any box laying around.

One more thing. If you do this, Keep the pistol for its charged shots. :)

Good job dude! buuuut here are some things i want to say about this.

First off, to the viewers, there are other alternatives to getting this skull. The exact way how is unknown, just get 6 checkpoints, go to skull location, and it triggers a skull-spawning checkpoint.

Another thing.....The camo glitch is okay, but heres a legit strategy.

1. At 7:11, there is a building to the left of the screen, as you can see the fire thru the window. That is your base. Here is how to set it up properly.

i've gotten this skull once before. i did the trick where you make a base and put marines in the base with beam rifles/sniper rifles,with alot of br's/plasma pistols/swords. my marines slowly got killed one by one. on the last wave my last marine died to a guy with a sword picked up a sword from my stash of weps. jumped over his head as he tried to hit me turned around and wacked him i nthe back. [icked up a sniper from my wepon pile and killed the alst elite that had a needler.

@mymsong If you want to save a profile with the skull you need to leave the room after you have spawned the skull in it, and obtain an additional checkpoint, save and quit after you do that and the skull will be there when you load your game again.

Look dude, there is no special way to do this, the skull only spawns one out of seven times. So just keep going to the skull spawn until it appears. Trust me, Ive found the skull many times, hell thats the easy part. Activating is the hard part. Really hard.

an even easier way is to use the unlimited camo glitch. get the envy skull on delta halo (makes master chief camo like the arbiter). go to outskirts and on the first checkpoint make sure you are camoflauged, save and quit last checkpoint. turn your xbox off then on and resume your campaign and you'll have unlimited camo.

charge up plasma pistol, shoot the overcharge at the elite so his shield goes down, then quickly switch to battle rifle and headshot him (or 2 body shots) to kill him. very fast way, only takes 3 seconds there. its damn annoying on multiplayer!!!
