Agree with Kchohan's comment. Tempo was too fast so you had little difficulty contolling breathing. Heavy breathing sound at the back at one place becomes obvious. This song is for peace and therefore should be sung in a slow tempo. But otherwise very good effort.
Renukaji,Your voice is fantastic. But inthis song Talmala or any beat -instrument will given you problem. A proper theka with live tabla in a bit slow pace(lay) and you can make wonder happen. Debasis
A slightly different version of this song was used in the film Malhar by Roshan ji... that version was a much slower one and sung by Lataji .... You will find the long by the name Garajat Barasat - Lata Mangeshkar in my favourites
This is one of my favourite songs from the movie Barsat ki rat. I love the fact that you still use the harmonium and the taal mala. Over all excellent rendition... My bit of suggestion to you would be to try the same song with a slower Lay. though this is the lay in the original song, I think you should first try with a slower pace... A slower lay would aid to to get over all the problems you are currently facing.
Very very good effort...taal perfect you sang with the teental without +,-. High notes and many other places where I felt the issue was not because you could not do it better it is because the tempo was too way fast. If you do it on a slow tempo you will be able to focus on areas which you rushed through.
But really it is a treat for my ears, loved the "Shudh" feel in the song of the raag.
very well sung but a little fast!!
