Source is pricey and camelbak is also in some cases BUT; If you want quality, Source is the way to go. More features. Better care and better product in all sizes. If I had used my head and looked for stuff like this rather then Camelbak when I was in the Army, I'd def have put some cash on the table for something someone made to make things better for me.
I love Source hydration products... They seem to work better with the rest of my gear than any other system.
Here in the deeeeep south, hydration is serious business, and all kinds of nastiness can start growing in your bladder... never had a problem with the Source unit.
I bought a camelbak back in 05 when I got to my infantry unit (I was told it behooved me to get one) and thought it was awesome. It busted easily though and the nozzle leaked a little bit. I went through 2 or 3 in different variations, but they had those problems in common. So before deployment I got a source just because why not? I was impressed. More sturdy, easier to clean, the nozzle didn't leak, just fantastic. More expensive for sure, but a great alternative in my opinion.
looks awesome. wish my camelbak could be refilled this way without taking my iotv off. that navy seal hyrdration kit with bottle mouth feature is cool too.
I am more of Camelbak kind of guy. But I really like many of the options Source offers, and I wouldn't hesitate to pick up any of their hydration systems. Even more, I like how they offer innovations and a very good competition to Camelbak. I think the "hydration-industry" needs this kind of competition with such high end quality products.
i like it

Source: Pricey, but a damn good product.
Camel: Little pricey but not Source quality.
