I really wish they'd remove those concrete crosswalks that seem to rise up 3 or 4 feet out of the road at every intersection.. after a while you learn how to dodge & avoid them :P
its a shame to see the city my great grandfather and grandfather put their sweat and hard work in to making this city, turn into a dump for homless people, crackheads and loonies. this city is going to shit, its being took over by thugs and drug dealers, nobody wants to shop here anymore, no tourism, halfway houses every few KM, even the mountain is starting to get bad. such a beautiful peice of land, destroyed, i love this city but hate the people and economy destroying it
think about it, if u keep all the druggies and loonies in hamilton, you keep them out of burlington, oakville, ancaster, stoney creek or any other surrounding cities.

I am a truck driver and have been in most cities in North America and downtown Hamilton is right up there with the very worst . the part of hamilton up on the mountain is totally different sensible people live up here. the entire downtown steel mills everything should be knocked down the ruins taken away and a large park put in its place

i gotta watch Silent Hill still. I remember when they filmed parts of Exit Wounds and X-Men. True lots of stuff filmed here. a lot of producers choose Hamilton over Toronto cause cheaper and more convenient.
if you wanna see a downtown that looks like an american downtown then visit downtown Brantford, they filmed Silent Hill there cause it was the only place scary looking enough to fit the mood of the movie, mind you though Hamilton has filled in for Detroit, Iraq and Hell
