@bluffball I dindt talk about nyjer morgan, Im talking about how Washington had the Senators... moved to minnesota as the Twins. Twins still honor Senators greats. Then they had another senators team... Moved to Texas... Rangers still honor that past... And Shitlig is dumb enough to put a 3rd team in washington, In favor of Montreal, who could sell out every game at one point in time. The wa-SHIT-on baseball franchises never have, and never will sell out 10 games in a row.

I'll give it to you that Washington is a shitty baseball city, but Montreal selling out games??? The last few years they were there, they had attendances of like 800 people at their home games

@gjstansfield You obviously havent been a baseball fan for long enough or you dont look in the history books. They got 8,000-10,000 a game. Thats bad, but if you know anything about the Expos, I wouldnt have to explain this... They sold out every game in the early 90s, and were on their way to a world series title in 1994, but the strike ended it... That strike caused people to lose intrest in baseball, thier best players left town, ticket prices were raised...

@gjstansfield And they still got 30,000 until about the 2000s when they started losing 90 games a year... they were going to get a downtown satdium, but bud selig did his best to stop that from happening, he had the team play in san jaun, games which would have got a decent crowd in Montreal. Selig forced fans to travel 45 minutes to get to the stadium and have to overpay for tickets. that way he had an excuse to move the team. And to waSHITon of all places.

@gjstansfield Also, Selig continues to neglect a Vancouver team. Tampas not getting a new stadium, and they get 15,000 a game for a first place team... in the AL EAST! That team should be moved to Vancouver. They have a 50,000 seat stadium with as retracable roof, right smack dab in downtown Vancouver to give them a home until a new park is built. All of Canada`s best players come from BC... Morneau, Bay, Harden, ect. come from BC. They sellout Single A games... Yeah, Single A games...

Morgan is a piece of shit. He's just a criminal disguised in a baseball uniform. Twice in a week he decides that his bloodlust is more important than scoring a run for his team (last night he could have put his team up in extra innings by sliding.) Then he goes into the outfield and starts yelling at fans and calling them obscene names. Not to mention intentionally throwing baseballs at people. I think you should probably pick a better role model for your kid, who cares if he gave him a baseball

@FLefty18 everything about this is b.s....many players have thrown a ball into the stands (no suspension). guy steals bases to score runs because he's LOSING...i can understand unsportsmanlike if he's WINNING by 10 runs, but c'mon, baseball can be alot about comebacks and he was trying to do just that. the intent was there to hit him....fine...but i'm gona hit you back. DONE!

@bluffball yeah i understand that. theres basically two things you can do when ur down 10 runs. steal bases and get in scoring position to come back, or you can give up. obviously everyone expected them to just give up, cuz they keep sayin he is doing something wrong by being aggressive when his team is losing. i dont think stealing bases when ur team is down is worth gettin thrown at again.

I like how the description absolves Morgan of all blame. There is going to be heckling at every game in every ballpark. He is a professional athlete and should be able to hold his temper.

yea Im not sure whether Nyjer did it or not, but players in baseball and any sport for that matter at the professional level should be prepared to deal with heckling, especially on the road...MLB has video of the whole game and all incidents that took place from multiple angles...7 games sure would be harsh for nothing - I have a hard time believing he did nothing wrong

Please tell me you're kidding! Please tell me the person who wrote this is the little kid in the video and not the dad who recorded it! If it is the kid, totally understadable to feel that way. If fans were banned from going to games for heckling players, the stands would be empty!
