The relocation of polluting activities to the mainland from the late 1980s stemmed from the necessity to address this concern.
That's said, there are plenty of gorgeous places for sightseeing in the mainland. Why don't you come over and see for yourself? In addition, if the mainland is so polluted, why are there over 1 million of people from Taiwan living there, especially in Shanghai?

(1) WHO wants to come over there? There are much more beautiful places elsewhere to visit, especially in the mainland!
(2) What relevance with this ludicrous bid? If your argumentation makes sense, there should be no problem at with membership.
(3) Among the so-called "diplomatic allies" of Taiwan, only 17 out of 24 did supported this farce.
