Nice work on your gasifier and great demonstration of the ejector. Would you be willing to share more on how you constructed the ejector? It looks like you made it from a 1-1/2 pipe tee. Is that correct?
Fair Question. A gasifier is a device that turns solid fuel like wood chunks or coal into a flammable synthetic natural gas called syngas, wood gas, or town gas. It's a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide. Town gas was commonly used in the 1920's for cooking and lighting. Most experimenters today were sucking the hot creosote containing gas they made through a fan. This video demonstrates a way to keep the fan clean and out of the gas stream so it doesn't fry or seize.
