I have a few videos that I really want to get to upload onto youtube that are flip video.. Unfortuately they are too long. Is there a way of either editing them down or dividing them into say two videos without loosing too much of the original video??

I'm going to do a Fourth of July special for my youtube account and im gonna be like "hey guys it ... blah blah blah gonna show fireworks blah blah blah" and i so im going to have my camera on the entire time after saying that and i dont know how to get rid of my empty space inbetween when im just waiting for the fireworks to start i want to be able too trim that off i have the pink/white flip cam its ultra and i jsut want to edit in the middle so please reply to this

When I plug my flip in. Flipshare doesn't come up automatically so I have to click the icon on the desktop. Also, when I do this flipshare comes up, but where on yours it says camcorder on the top left. It used to do that with mine until I tried bringing back files that I accidently deleted back onto flipshare and now I get a list of things like favorites and movies and stuff. How do i find the vidoes I have on my camera?

Just got mine last week. My question is this - When I shut down the Flip Share application, it tells me updates are available/needed. When I click on "update now", it displays an error type message and wipes out the software. I then have to reload the software again! Any idea why this happens? Thanks.

@9xMetalx9 if u have windows make a video on your flip studio then click the online button then choose other sites then click other. then it will save it in a folder on ur desktop. then u can drag or copy the movie to windows movie maker and edit it there

@9xMetalx9 The only problem is how simple it is. You can't do anything else but fades. You can export files to put in any other editing system though which i often do.

@9xMetalx9 Import the videos into another folder on your pc, then copy and paste them from that file onto windows movie maker (or what ever you have). There will be no fading between each clip

@9xMetalx9 If your trying to put it on YT then What I do is press CTRL button and pick the videos I wanna make my video with, upload to YT as private, then edit them all together in YouTube editor.

This is why I don't like Flip. The stupid software for it doesn't have ay video effects, so you cant speed up or slow down the video/ ect. You can't import the videos into the Windows Movie maker or ay other video editing programs to edit it. Not to mention I have to charge my Flip Camera everyday even when I don't use it at all. And if I'm wrong, can somebody please tell me how to do this stuff? Because I can't make any videos. >:`(

open up flip share and right click on the video you want, then click export to and export it to your desktop or wherever you want it.

there's something that really annoys me on flip, and thats the transition between clips when you make a movie. The clips fade in and out and that cuts out some of the audio. It's really annoying and doesn't look very nice on videos. Is there a way I can change it or is it there to stay?

i bought one, and i downloaded AVS video converter. it converts your video, so it can be imported to windows movie maker. i hope that answered ur question. if not message me back lol

Same here, well I do have one idea. I don't know if you have it or not but there's something called hypercam. You can just record the videos with it and then you'll be able to edit in wmm..
