I remember this storm. I am a few miles south and it looked exactly the same. After two days I finally uncovered my Bronco and drove to WalMart to find it closed because no one could get there to open it! Security was stuck in the lot, so I helped them get loose, then went back home to sip cocoa and wait for it to clear. It took four days before things got better and traffic to start up. For several days it was so peaceful and quiet with no traffic.
omg I remember that. It was bad! I have a small white dog, and she ended up getting out of the house (my brother didnt close the door, hes a retard) and it was very hard to find her, as she blended in with the snow, and she's tiny... But I love it when it snows!
some people get paid 'snow days' - unfortunately, I am not one of those people! After a few days, the boss showed up with his 4x4 and dragged us all to work!
if this was a video about the major streets of Denver... okay, you're right ... OMG!! I'm so glad you pointed that out!!! How could I have been so STUPID to venture outside in sub-freezing temperatures to make a video for my snowless friends... and utter such an incorrect statement. (get a life)
Wow, consider that your initiation to Colorado! the 2003 blizzard was officially the 2nd worst blizzard in Colorado on record. Worst one I believe was 1913. But ya, this last one wasn't any easier!
That's nothin, you guys! I've lived in CO for 25 years, weathered 3-4 enormous blizzards & lived to tell about it! you should have seen the blizzards of 1982 (year after I moved here) & 2003. That was some SERIOUS snow!!!!!!!!!! Everything was shut down, including airports, state & city governments, stores you name it.
I moved into this condo March of 2003 and woke up to the OTHER blizzard... my Beetle at the time was only an antenna poking out of a huge pile of snow. So yes... I know, this is not the worst blizzard we've had... just the one I recorded and posted on YouTube. ~Z~
Why would you be worrying about getting to your car? Just go back in and make yourself a hot drink.

I wish that was common thing in Denver and not just every few years. I love snow. I don't understand why people complain about it.
