I don't know where Olbe obtains his news but I haven't heard of anyone dying at OWS events. While sad, an Iraq war vet was injured & I respect him for his service to our country, it was still his decision to not disperse when police directed them to do so. Additionally, once rocks and bottles started to be hurled at police, they too have a right to their own protection.

Olbermann should watch O'Donnell's interview the day after with the protester who admitted rocks and bottles were thrown.

I live in SF and was listening to the story unfold on the radio with shock. 5 hours after the OccupyOakland encampment was destroyed by 500 police in riot gear with tear gas and rubber bullets (which the police denied using until protestors produced as evidence, and which are banned in Oakland), city officials were claiming on the radio that "a bottle was thrown". That was the extent of the CLAIMED violence by OccupyOakland.
