@luciferghost even 500hp it has a power to weight ratio of like 5-1 if its 2500 pounds. not sure of the weight but thats a guess. A bike running a 190 width tire with about 175 hp but weighs less could get a better start, once the clutch is out. if an evo weighs 2500 pounds and u take that ratio of 5-1 that puts the bike up. you can only put so much power to a tire before it spins and loses traction, bike looks horribly stock and sounds it. evo doesnt.

for the the sake of education, when riding a bike hard through the gears the best way to shift is without the clutch it's faster and better for the clutch and gear box (hence why there are such things as quick shifters to help this process).
but u see a motorcycle can only accelerate so fast until it flips. in a car u can redline it to shit and drop the clutch then the wheels will spin till they find traction (which this evo clearly has a lot of) so it would be clear that a modded evo would beat the cbr600
First off rider is shifting, he doesn't drag properly maybe he read a magazine and it said top torque/hp is at 9k rpms not realizing that he still has x,y, & z more to go, shifted way tooo early and don't get me wrong Evo's are fast and nice, but still way a ton compared to a 600 which ways with full tank of gas 420lbs roughly with 100hp, the power to weight versus the car still wins and would win the race if a proper rider was on. I got a zx-6r '11 and I smoke evos all day even highly tuned 1's

It sounds like the biker is afraid of high rpms. Shifts super early. Even in just a 600 first gear will take you to a pretty fast speed before redlining. With a competent rider most modern sport bikes (stock) will dominate everything but high end sports cars and highly tuned and modified cars.

It sounds like the biker is afraid of high rpms. Shifts super early. Even in just a 600 first gear will take you to a pretty fast speed before redlining. With a competent rider most modern sport bikes (stock) will dominate everything but high end sports cars and highly tuned and modified cars.

@yourleftnut1 ah right, just looks quick to me but i know nothing at all about how fast things are, apart from my own car and bike! haha i just thought something like an evo tuned could rip a lot of bikes off the start line as they have the grip and launch control where as a bike takes it more steady due to wheel spin or front end coming up! unless it is a busa drag bike........ now they're quick!!
