You put like 35 servings of butter on there lol look at the servings per bottle on that container its like 2000! But I wish I was there to have some of that popcorn mmmm
@chelseafcjimmy That's awesome! I still make popcorn the old way every now and then on the stove in a pot with some oil. I really love the air popper though.
You could write your ow popcorn music. Produce it, hire musicians to play it. Or, if that is too much work and cost, you could stop complaining about copyright. These people work very hard and spend a lot of money to make these pieces. That's why they "give a hoot"
@greggfla Come to think of it, if the Presto Power Pop does ever get discontinued, I should buy one of these. I found one for $18 at Wal-Mart the other day, but I'll continue using Presto's Power Pop...Rival makes them, surprisingly.
hey anyone remember the one that was yellow & white in color & sold at gold circles or zaryes i think around 1978 this poper was the fad for that year like sold out ....
@TheHalo3spartan117 Cool! I really like mine. I went back to melting butter in the microwave though. The spray butter just wasn't cutting it lol! Thanks for commenting!
Ya I remember getting all kinds of good stuff at the Kwanis & Goodwill When I lived in the Cape, I loved it but had to move due to Losing my Business. You have some good videos ! I used to live off se 46ln & vincenes Have a great Holiday !
@ruwithlee1970 Hey, that's pretty cool you lived in the Cape! Sorry to hear you lost your business, things are still kind of tough here work wise. Glad you like the vids! You have a great holiday as well, and thanks!
Making popcorn was always fun ^^ I remember when I was little (about 11 yrs old) and I was making popcorn on frying pan. I was so impatient as a child so I left up the pan's lid and the popcorn was all around my kitchen ^^ Best regards, Greg
@narutohinataashgaara Not really, I can't use salt due to my high blood pressure. When I did use it, I would butter it first, then add a little salt, then mix it up then add a little more. It would stick to the butter that way. I hate not being able to put salt on my popcorn! Thanks for the comment!
@JoanFergusonJF I love popcorn! We eat it a lot. Love making a big batch of it and turning off the lights and watching movies while ! munch away! lol.
@greggfla I have lost about 45 videos to the WMG bot, but the system is being more lenient nowadays... One of my more recent videos had some copyrighted WMG music that was playing in the background. The content was matched, but nothing needed to be done on my part. This is a lot better than silencing the whole soundtrack and having to take it down or use audioswap...
I work at a cinema it is one of those things you smell and you instantly want it. I believe in the US they put extra butter in a pump thingy so you can add more that sounds dangerous for a person on a diet but the air popper is a great idea.
@cheekychickenhead That sounds like a wonderful job! I agree, I smell popcorn and I want some lol! It's a shame, pretty much everything in the US is to the "extreme". Then we wonder why such a large percentage of our population is obese. My sudden weight gain was due to my thyroid being all out of whack. My Dr. put me on a medication and the weight is coming off slowly but surely! : )
Oh I remember them from like the 80's. Ah Ha spray butter. Yea we melt butter then it shrivels up the popcorn. DON'T EVEN get me started on that stuff.
@schmumpkin Hahahaha! Eric! Thanks buddy! I really like the song too! There's a lot of songs I'd like to use on my vids. Oh well. Hope you're enjoying your weekend man!
Cool! I had one like that but it broke! Anyway those poppers are the best ones! Keep on popping gregg! POPS out,...... must have been one of those hot kernals that got away!
that wouldn't be cool, that would be totally epic. I would have tried it.. if they put a add on it great .. still get to use it.. of it got booted. then I would replace the music with another or nothing. lol I have done that for sure a few times. Love ya!
I would get one of those just for the entertainment value. With all these things I wonder how and why someone first discovered you could pop corn.
In the days before copyright issues Zipster did a video about popcorn and I retaliated - sorry responded - with an animation video of zipster heads popping out of a pan using that music - oh those were the days!
@MrRandomWritings I wondered who discovered popcorn too. I've also wondered who discovered milking cows ... Hmmm. ~ Oh man! The Zipster vid sounds hilarious! I wish I could have seen that! Hahaha!
this is the first popcorn vid i have ever watched, and i enjoyed it....i always had a thing for jiffy pop and watching that tin foil erupt.......you are right about that song....1812 overture would have worked too....remember they used that song to advertise QUAKER PUFF RICE CEREAL ...that's why i don't want to be partner.....i can do whatever the hell i want as long as i don't get caught.
@elbrookman Hahaha! Jiffy was the way to go back in the day! I thought the same thing, If I'm not a partner they won't know! I still had a bunch of my videos taken down by the man! lol. Oh well. I'm starting to repost them now with cheesy royalty free music. Boring.
Great video Dude!! I had a popper like that back in the 70's. You know they make bags you just throw in the microwave now!!☺ You're right about the music. I just videoed my Nieces wedding on Wildwood Beach and at the end I added a slideshow and added the song Wildwood Days. The song made all the difference in the world.
@805ROADKING I actually took down a bunch of my videos I had posted over the past few years because I didn't want YT to shut my channel down. I'm redoing them all with royalty free music, but it won't be the same. Thanks for commenting man! Have a great weekend!
@bugsinrug I really like this popper, it make great popcorn! I have taken down so many of my videos over the past few years because of being afraid that YT would shut down my channel. I'm going to re-do some of them so I can repost them, but they won't be the same. Oh well, not much we can do about it. : )
Never eat microwave popcorn. The bag linings contain perfluorooctanoic acid. The hot air popper is the way to pop.
beyondbelief360 1 month ago
if the butter you use is not salty and is fat free it´s more healthy and you can still add salt and it will not be as salty if lightly salted
wxrodrigues 1 month ago
This is the best popcorn popper.
Two heating cautions:
1. Make sure hot air is coming up all the way through the popcorn, or it will overheat.
2. After making popcorn, make sure the clear yellow hood and cup stay on top the base unit until they are cool, or the hood will warp.
White corn pops more snowflakes than most yellow popcorn.
My favorite topping: olive oil, pepper, and mustard. (Stay away from butter and salt.)

you think you can add like an extension to between the shoot and the popping chamber so you can add more kernels at a time?
