Korean education is absaloutely ridiculous! 7:20 am to 11:00 pm at night is way to extreme! At my school i am in grade 7.... and we have a new Korean guy in my class. He says "omg this is way to easy". He said the stuff that we are learning now in grade 7, he learnt in grade 3/4!
Yeah, kinda ridiculous. Students in Singapore starts at 7.30am-2.10 pm. Plus compulsory CCA which ends at 6-7pm but in alternate days. Its better then Korean school but I wish I went through Korean education. Even though its tough, its for our own benefit. Education is everything!
That's how Korean survive in this tough world. We are strong, and we need to be stronger. I went through Korean education and now teaching in American urban school. These gangbangers don't have work ethic. I love my country which taught me how to truely work hard and earn the value of life.
sad.. i'm korean high school student now... i go to school at 7:20a.m and it finished at 10:00p.m. than i have to go to math academy and the academy finished at 12:30a.m
I think all koreans show stereotypes to show how perfect they are and never the reality. Otherwise they should have the best marks at everything and it isn't the case in PISA 2006.
So korean education system is shit or korean children haven't any talent? In countries like Japan, Taiwan etc we have more freedom. I think Finnish education is BEST! Koreans work like slaves and they still don't have the best marks everywhere. Besides, best at school isn't equal to best at society. Creativity and innovation can be trained but not like that. Entreprenorship can't be learned. Poor koreans. What's the final goal of hard-working? Happiness of course. Koreans don't realize it. LMAO

U say Korean students r dumb, if they are dumb, then ur dummer. Have u been in korean highschool life? U go school at 7 at ends at 12, thats not the end of the day. You take lessons after that. Korean student in general know more english than u do, they know more grammar, writing, etc, they r just suck at speaking.

By the way, I am not from America, the place where school is very easy.
I am from Eastern Europe, a place where you learn a lot in schools but you don't get turned into a machine like in Korea.
