p.s. i don't want to sell the other bandmates short. i think michelle's songs are great and from what i've heard she writes the songs herself too (awesome). although i think hayley williams from paramore is good and all for the pseudo-rebellious teens out there and i'm glad a girl is (sorta) rocking, michelle is really the best. her voice got so much better.also will's drumming on this album is amazing.. maybe fred should have kept breaking pangaea together! and shaun is just great.
when the album didn't sell well, river's got really regretful and deemed it a failure. although john hasn't called this album a failure his recent myspace post shows how frustrating it can be to create something from the heart that is genuinely what you want to make and to not have it received well. but what do you really expect from the society we live in.
the needles the space is the best album i've heard in a LONG time. to me it's representative of weezer's pinkerton. not musically, but in the way that the blue album was a big commercial success, not to mention a collection of great pop songs. after weezer made a little money river's tried to make a cd from his heart that obviously spoke to a more segregated audience than the prior works.
well, fred quit tbs and said that it was a waste of his time. so, maybe this could lead me to think that tbs was better with john instead of fred. fred's solo stuff is good, tho.

Why'd they call themselves Straylight Run? Neuromancer was a dark, awesomely gritty book. And this is fucking pop-punk.
I'd expect some band called Straylight Run to be some mad, heavy, hacking-culture inspired hardcore shit or something.

ok tbs isnt emo at all the singer might be a little bit in music videos but thier not emo...and thier not whiney they just sing that way they acually have high energy songs and i tink thier better and theve been throught alot wiht ppl leaving the band and they deserve more

People are talking about how John Nolan (the lead singer) and Shaun Cooper (bass player) left the band Taking Back Sunday after the album Tell All Your Friends. It doesn't matter really cause this band is far better.

Far from their debut CD (which I loved), definetly a different sound (at least in this song). Not that that's a bad thing at all. I'll definetly buy the album.

p.s. i don't want to sell the other bandmates short. i think michelle's songs are great and from what i've heard she writes the songs herself too (awesome). although i think hayley williams from paramore is good and all for the pseudo-rebellious teens out there and i'm glad a girl is (sorta) rocking, michelle is really the best. her voice got so much better.also will's drumming on this album is amazing.. maybe fred should have kept breaking pangaea together! and shaun is just great.

when the album didn't sell well, river's got really regretful and deemed it a failure. although john hasn't called this album a failure his recent myspace post shows how frustrating it can be to create something from the heart that is genuinely what you want to make and to not have it received well. but what do you really expect from the society we live in.

the needles the space is the best album i've heard in a LONG time. to me it's representative of weezer's pinkerton. not musically, but in the way that the blue album was a big commercial success, not to mention a collection of great pop songs. after weezer made a little money river's tried to make a cd from his heart that obviously spoke to a more segregated audience than the prior works.

well, fred quit tbs and said that it was a waste of his time. so, maybe this could lead me to think that tbs was better with john instead of fred. fred's solo stuff is good, tho.
