  • i was with the 614th 84 to 85 pic bring back a whole lot of memrroies going to the gosse then to the wall

  • Thanks to the advent of the internet these pictures can be share with other brothers- nice song by the way- it fits well

  • I wish that we had digital cameras back then. It was expensive to develop a ton of pictures. I didn't take as many as I should have. Most of my pictures are of people getting drunk in the barracks. When you are young and crazy , you don't think about all of the things that you would want to remember when you get to middle age. Good job with the down town photos. It brings back memories of Nurnberg.

  • @tgbutler603 You are so very right. I am at least glad that I have this to share. You know what else. I do not have one picture with me and my M16. Not one picture of me in the field at Graft or anywhere for that matter. I did not want pictures back then and now I wish I thought different..

  • Thanks for the nice vid, I was in Bamberg, Muna Kaserne, 1973 thru sept. 1975. We wore the same unit patch, 71st bn. 504th maint. co. 31E, field radio repair under SSg. Vernon Smith. Vietnam was ongoing when I arrived in Bamberg, just happy not to be in a "hot war"! Thanks for the memories!

  • what is your name kdohelp4u? what platoon?

  • I was there from Jan 86 to Oct 90, almost 5 years. I saw many come and go. Lots of partying, lots of friends, lots of fun. Texas Pub, the dancing club over by Johnson Barracks, and many other party places. Wolf Pack! No Slack!

  • @kdohelp4u hey, who is this?

  • The Bar across the gate at Darby wasnt that the Rocket? then down the street was the Hard Rock Cafe downtown was my favorite place the Green Goose! and the Irish Pub. 317th at WO Darby and 317th Monteith Barracks 91 92 I was 45B in the Armament shop

  • Wow powerful songs to reflect the time we did this silly stuff. The Yard Dawgs were the best squad of men a guy could ask for. All squad members have gone on to current careers in many high level jobs. God Bless them all! Wolf Pack! No Slack!

  • 45th Ord Co. back in. 85-86. I loved Nurnberg and merrill Barracks. The locals told me thru hand signals and what German i knew, that it was an SS training base back in WW2. So much history in that country. If I was fluent in German, I'd have probably stayed. Thanks for sharing this vid, and God bless you !
