It actually depends on which "politician" you listen to and who they want backing them. In reality polar bears are making a very strong comeback and they are not on the endangered list anymore. With careful regulation and responsible hunting they will continue to flourish.

wow great documentary, i once lived in that community for for the 1st 17 year of my life. great to see people from there again, nice digs well looked after. how'd you like the stay in the community?

btw we're able to hunt polar bears but theirs a quota. limited kill. we kill what we consume, no need to over kill. thats our culture. i love the video would add it to my favourites. would you have any chance of haveing more videos from there?

Why is this a "great" documentary? They never explain what they're doing... they just ride around in the dark, get out once in a while and fiddle with some equipment, then drive on. I've never seen a more confusing or pointless "documentary" in my life.
