@1Rebel4Love Well in Hans Christian Anderson's original tale of 'The Little Mermaid' the little mermaid only has sisters - I think she is the youngest of seven (not completely sure), but that's probably why Disney chose to keep them all mermaids since its quite a big part of the original story :)

When Walt Disney made a bunch of money off of the movie snow white, he bought a huge mansion for his parents to live in. The house was not structurally safe and it ended up collapsing and killing his mother.

She kept inhaling these fumes, and over a short period of time..it killed her. Walt blamed himself because he built the house, and although repairmen were sent over to the house to fix it..the problem was never quite fixed.
