Disregarding the quick-charge technique for the moment, wouldn't the three normal attacks still be worse than a full-charge because you apply the monster's damage reduction thrice (once per slash), in addition to one or two of your hits not hitting a weak point?

I kinda really dislike that capcom programmed it like this for GS, because it literally makes 90% of GS's useless other than for the fact of using certain element weapons to break specific mob parts if you need them. Not only them, but also many armor sets. I mean, it would make much more sense to use a Kirin Thundersword with full Kirin Armor on Tigrex and use different sets on other monsters. That'd give me a better feeling than permanently running around in an almighty cookie cutter.

the raw is more important than element, but not always: i have a Sieglinde (916 RAW), but for kill the teostra i prefer my titernia(800+RAW and 160 DRAGON)

the sieglinde is more powerful, but with the dragon element i can break the horns of the teostra, and with sieglinde, not.

i still get good results with Full charge GS on tigrex (chief standard) using Khezu shock blade

what i can tell that using monsters element weaknesses can cut/destroy parts of their body

example,

Tigrex (chief standard)

GS 1200+ raw no element, it took me at least 7 or more shots to the tail before it came flying out, while the khezu shock blade took it off at 4 - 5 hits,

so if your looking to get breakable part items i would prefer to use monster weaknesses

In my personal experience (don't get upset if you don't like my method...this is just what I am best with when using the GS) it is better to use semi-charges then side slash and roll around the head/tail/wing/etc. (w/e you are hitting at) then rinse and repeat (just keep doing that) Only time I use a full charge is when the monster is down (knocked over, or in a trap) But this is just what I do...try it out and tell me how it works for you.

depends what type of attack you will always use, but khezu is safer not to chagre it all the time, so i would recommend you the barbaroi blade, but iirc it has a very sucky sharpness.

obviously not, you need to know the hp, you need to know the weakest spot, you need to use adrenaline and heroics plus drugs and power seed. but i dont think you can kill it that easy.

to calculate full charge's attack, after the basic 110%, then times 130% after calculating weapon sharpness and damage to the different parts of monsters.

i calculated based on a faq done by a guy in gamefaqs[dot]com and it works perfectly fine for every guides i made. i don now bout 130% but element has its own formula as well. anyways, self preference aye? =)

well, maybe that guy missed it. i mean after calculate everything(element as well) then times 130%. that 130% actually helps GS that has low sharpness. for example, a green sharpness GS hit on black gravios' wing, it will bounce off. but if a full charge with the same sword hit on it, will not

you need to know if you CANT use the quick charge, its better to use the normal three hits on a spot, no matter weak or strong. because the % of damage is higher. however, if you can use the quick cahrge that is better cause you can land another hit which makes its damage % higher. also i dont think the guide needs a perfect game..it would become second nature.

depends, ie rathian fireball can land 3 hits...but risky...lao's head...easy...it always depend on the situation you are in...there are many variations i can think off.

any weapon is good for khezu, but high grade earplgu is recommended if your weapon cant block. but honestly charging khezu is not that good. i prefer to use sns on it. long sword is also good. i dont know a damage guide with photo. i only know the damage calculation in gamefaqs.

there is not muhc for khezu, just wear high grade earplug and your good to go. its not really worth cahrging khezu. first ption is when it electric comes out of its mouth, when it does the blanka style attack, the tail and head is reachable, when it turns it is also chargeable.
