And she got out of a situation with some guy in high school , she told me how she did it and it work. This people are very aware of your center and they know where to push to get out of balance.Ma is one of the best if you don't believe it go to China and try it look for this teachers and try it anything you like .I been there first hand experience , it is possible is just in the west we don't believe in the power of the mind in that sense .
The technic is something like when some say grubs from say your wrist given example in the person 1 the one who took hold of you feels that you will pull towards your self to get out of instead you go towards him with his pull apply say shoulder stroke momentum of his pull plus your push in his chest plus lowering your center of gravity and get under him and then apply a push with hands or elbow shoulder can send some one quite a distance .I show that one to my girl cousin .
When some of understands how it works they you know it works. In the sense that it works in your center and where you keep your balance Mr Ma can actually do it and I can say that form first hand experience not with in particular but with others , and I do put up a good bout on them I test them.I do tai-chi my self and have some understanding of it .Most people don't believe in it but trust if one of this old guys get hold of you like to see any one get out of it .
@Blndrfist Its not force. But what you can do, is take force, into your own body, when someone pushes against you, and repel that force off of you. If you know the proper mechanics. Just cuz he is not moving doesn't mean he is not using muscles.
The effort involved here is not physical, it's mental. The old fucker spent decades learning to transmit force in this way. Besides, two tai ji practitioners pushing hands for the sake of learning look A LOT different than a tai ji player defending himself against an attacker. If you find this man's abilities questionable, he has plenty of surviving students who you can meet if you do the research and find them. Please find a genuine tai ji player before judging eastern culture so harshly.
Nothing exaggerated here. Ma Yueh Liang was a great master of Tai Chi. This and other You Tube video makes that very clear. He developed amazing skill and ability.
The last man Grandmaster Ma... is amazing. There are rarely seen push hand methods going on there, not to mention his skill and control of anyone touching him. Wow. squarecircle118, I agree... just had to say something.

Does anyone know who the third partner is? He's about the only opponent of Ma's I've seen who doesn't go flying after ten seconds.

Nice and smooth especially hes at least late 80s! but rather exaggerated especially the part where he didnt even touch him and he was pushed back.
