Just want to put it out there. No matter how pussd chrustians get when ppl violate the ten commandments they cant do shit about it. We make our own decisions and the only ones who hav the rite to punish us is the court system
if i accidentally did something... i would ask for forgiveness just like any moral man would do. i don't ask for forgiveness from jesus , because i have already asked for forgiveness.
If i commit sin , i ask for forgiveness from God.
If i accidentally hurt someone , i will ask for forgiveness from the person from whom i have harmed.
all i am saying.. good people do what good people do.
You are correct in my opinion for the most part...obviously context would play a large part.
Yer, they make stupid arguments like that all the time...To be honest i sum Christians up like this..."The pursuit of Truth comes second to the pursuit of self-comfort".
so your saying lying is not wrong just you cant get charged in court for it? quite your bullshit Jesusfreek777 is a good person and you are not..........
He's saying lying isn't always illegal. Yes, in court it is illegal to lie. But watch this. My youtube user name is jeff9487. Hmmm, no cops at my door. And I don't think they'll take interest if you tell them. JF777 is not a good person. He hands out life lessons on subjects he know nothing about. He thinks communism, nazism and atheism are all the same thing. And says so on youtube. That is extremely offensive. Especially seeing how Hilter was a Catholic. "Gott mit uns"
I would certainly agree with you that jezuzfreek merely played semantics with his arguments and was dead wrong on the later part of the video, and personally, what he said seemed to me to prove TJ right about how he doesn't care about people's feeling.
Finally someone that gets the real purpose of forgiveness and doesn't just say it cause a "god" demands it with his standards, which means atheists for the most part are stronger and we don't have something to lean on when we genuinely feel bad about something.
No I wasnt reffering to seeking forgivness from god. You can do whatever you want with your god. The point I was trying to make was continuing to seek forgivness froma person because god tells you is doing it for the wrong reasons. Your doing it so that you can then seek forgivness from your god. its not about feelings its about your belifs which I feel is wrong.
Your comments on forgiveness constitute an excellent example of how morality without reference to a god -- in the instant case, forgiveness for its own sake -- is actually much more in sync with good, right reasons than morality with reference to a god.
I am very excited to watch more of your videos!

Very good, seeking forgiveness is from feeling truely quilty not the mandatory-cristian-seek-forgiveness.
One is choice other is dictation.

Seeking forgiveness from God is not about selfishness. Its recognizing there is a God and he has standards for us to live by.
Its God who says we must seek his forgiveness.
If you don't like Gods standards thats between you and God.
