I'm not sure if anyone ever answered your question. The song is about the brokeness we all feel and how sometimes life seems to crush us under the weight of expectations and disappointments. BUT, Jesus Christ is always there for us, and he welcomes us, regardless of our sinfullness, and wraps his loving arms around us to console our troubled soul. He was there for us when he died on the cross, and he was there for us when he conquered death. He promised to always be with us. So he is.

Listen I will pray for you. I also have been struggling with a lot now a days with my family and my friends. Just know that God loves you even when you don't even think about it. If there is just a moment in your heart and time to just look up and see God loving you... everything that goes wrong turns out to be a blessing in disguise. It's taking me 5 years to realize how much God loves every second of every moment in time. In Psalms it states that God is loving us when asleep and when we wake.
