You missed teh LA spanish version, esmeralda's voice takes on a very touching yet powerful tone in that version. (and not just saying that cause Mexican XP). I loved the French one,I think it's very fitting. ^^
what always surprises me is how touching the french manage to make the translations, it doesnt make sense but the lyrics are so beautiful especially in that one
I totally fell in love with the French version. It's so gentle and sweet.
But nothing can really compete with the swedish version with Sharon Dyall! She's so talented it hurts;D But I don't like the part that's on here. She sounds so...manly? XD but if you listen to the whole song in swedish it's awesome.;)
you probably have the right swedish lyrics and my dvd the wrong, but it says "jag vill förändra, som finns utanför", not "jag ber för andra, som finns utanför" as your lyrics...oh well, they are similar enough
i presonally think that swedish and german are the only one with kind of characteristis voices, they have their very own sound! the other could be any other disney princess, but these sound unique, but there all VERY BEAUTIFUL! tho i dont like the hebrew voice much...
ej prosze niech ktos to doda w polskiej wersji ale cala ta piosenke.blagam.i niech mi wysle na maila ktorego podam jak ktos sie zglasi.prosze Was ludzie!
My favorite were the french and the german. french just fits very well since the whole story is set in france..but the voice fits very well too and the german one as well. the swedish first kinda scared me!
You got the Dutch lyrics wrong: instead of "Ik vraag geen rijkdom, ik vraag niets voor mij" the people are singing "Ik vraag om roem, ik vraag om goud". The part you have in the list is only what Esmeralda sings. Just saying... ^-^
swedish was the best by far. esmerelda has a really powerful voice, which really shows her character well. the choir also sang in harmony, which i know form watching other vids of this song, no other language does.
Very beautiful. My girlfriend is obsessed with this film...:-D anyway, the italian title has a little mistake: "Dio Fa' Qualcosa", there is an 'a' that doesn't has to be there ;-D
The German singing voice of Esmeralda is Ute Lemper, who also sang the German Ariel in "The little Mermaid" and who was part of the concert "Roger Waters - The Wall Live in Berlin".

Spanish(Oración de Esmeralda):
¿Cómo hablarte a Ti?

Pero tienes cara humana

Not sure if this is totally accurate, but that´s the translation of the Spanish bit ^_^
