In the past I thought there were a few speaking for God but in time they had a moral collapse and that ended that. The closest thing we have today as far a prophets go (IMO) are good sound Bible teachers. Some are gifted with teaching and do a wonderful job of it. Since we have the written word why do we need prophets, is probably the bigger question.

I understand the importance of being careful not to follow false prophets, but Matthew 24:9 says "then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me." I know Jesus goes on to warn of false prophets, but does not this mean there are true prophets as well. Prophets don't have a track record of being well liked and quiet about their visions. if i had visions from God, I would shout them like mad. or do you not believe in visions?

Do you really know what a false prophet is? A false prophet points people to Satan himself. That's not what he is doing. Do you know about the gift of prophecy? I most certainly know what a false prophet is and Bob Jones is at the top of the list. His numerous false prophecy's have proven where he is coming from. A false prophet can be identified by his lack of reverence for Gods word and extra-biblical ramblings. A FP doesn't point to satan but rather deviates from Jesus Christ, and sound doctrine. Signs and wonders become the issue not the finished work of our Lord ans savior Jesus Christ. Not to mention his total perversion and abuse of women.

He is not worshipping angels. He had a prophetic vision that tells of women in the church becoming warriors in the church. It's actually very exciting and it's already showing itself. You can feel the presence of the holy spirit when you watch this video.

the scripture says there are four living creatures in the throne of God (Revelation) but not the beings that Bob is talking about. I thought he is real, until he said that the beings have names. I get skeptical when angelic beings or "beings" reveal their names. Usually, they are demons sent to mislead the weak believers.
Also, many who have seen heaven said that the angelic beings are mighty and huge. This is the first time I heard that someone from heaven is 3 ft tall. In Hell, there are midgets and different sorts and sizes of creatures. I would be very careful of Bob Jones.

It's possible that they are both under the same demonic forces. If christians are not strongly grounded in the word of God, they will be swept away by these powerful delusion.
I saw one of Todd's vids where he claimed he was beamed up out of a church into the clouds and put on a table where angels operated on him. He said they actually used power tools...LOL! He said they opened him up and put stuff inside him. Anyway, it sounded like a classic alien abduction story and we know where that stuff comes from. Bob Jones and Todd Bentley two of the most deceived people in the history of the Church! Shame on people for not having enough discernment to see it!
When I became a Christian, the first thing I noticed with the Pstors are their eyes. I can see humility and holiness just by looking at their eyes. Some Pastors don't have this kind of eyes though.
However, with Todd Bentley, he don't need to speak. Just like Kenneth Copeland, their eyes speak what spirit they've got. Their teachings just confirm it.
I believe that right standard to discern false and true prophets is told in Matthew 7.
V. 15,16 "Beward of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their FRUITS. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?"
V. 19,20 "Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them"
3:10 "And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire"
now what is the good fruit?
i believe with all my heart that the good fruit is the 'fruits meet for repentance' told in verse 8.
and it's the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23), it's not the fruits of Ministry or Gifts of the Spirit. and the reason is in Matthew 7:21-23.
Now, I see Bob Jones is pretty mature who is bearing the Fruit of the Spirit.

The prophets were also known as dreamers of dreams (Deu 13:1) do, you think any of these guys, were called false prophets back in their day because of their methods and delivery of prophetic words? In the past I thought there were a few speaking for God but in time they had a moral collapse and that ended that. The closest thing we have today as far a prophets go (IMO) are good sound Bible teachers. Some are gifted with teaching and do a wonderful job of it. Since we have the written word why do we need prophets, is probably the bigger question.

I understand the importance of being careful not to follow false prophets, but Matthew 24:9 says "then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me." I know Jesus goes on to warn of false prophets, but does not this mean there are true prophets as well. Prophets don't have a track record of being well liked and quiet about their visions. if i had visions from God, I would shout them like mad. or do you not believe in visions?

God talks to me in night visions (dreams) and though some are very symbolic, God also gives me the wisdom to interpret it. And they come to pass but I only share them to fellow believers to encourage them that God cares and still talk to us and guides us even to this day. We are after all His children. Jesus came for those who had something wrong with them, and changed them for his purpose.Paul probably did worse by killing many christians, before he experienced Jesus. And if you don't know, he made it clear that he had come out of deep sin before he died and met Jesus, and was concerned whether he made it clean. But I'm sure you have no such concern, since you've never needed to repent from something sinful.

Do you really know what a false prophet is? A false prophet points people to Satan himself. That's not what he is doing. Do you know about the gift of prophecy? Do you think that because a person is imperfect, they are a false prophet? Jesus doesn't fit in our boxes. We are all in the Body, some of us have different views, but we are all in the Body, those who claim Jesus as Messiah and Lord. Be careful of your judgements, lest you be judged. the scripture says there are four living creatures in the throne of God (Revelation) but not the beings that Bob is talking about. I thought he is real, until he said that the beings have names. I get skeptical when angelic beings or "beings" reveal their names. Usually, they are demons sent to mislead the weak believers.

Also, he mentioned a "being" named "Erma", could this be the same (angelic)"being" that Todd Bentley is talking about? (search it in youtube) I know for sure that Todd operates under demonic spirits he called "angels". (demons pretending as angels of light) In one video, I saw Todd and Bob together. It's possible that they are both under the same demonic forces. If christians are not strongly grounded in the word of God, they will be swept away by these powerful delusion.

When I became a Christian, the first thing I noticed with the Pstors are their eyes. I can see humility and holiness just by looking at their eyes. Some Pastors don't have this kind of eyes though.
However, with Todd Bentley, he don't need to speak. Just like Kenneth Copeland, their eyes speak what spirit they've got. Their teachings just confirm it.

I believe that right standard to discern false and true prophets is told in Matthew 7.
V. 15,16 "Beward of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their FRUITS. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?"
V. 19,20 "Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them"

i believe with all my heart that the good fruit is the 'fruits meet for repentance' told in verse 8.
and it's the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23), it's not the fruits of Ministry or Gifts of the Spirit. and the reason is in Matthew 7:21-23.

I know that Bob Jones made huge mistake or was deceived in his ministry, but just because of it, we can't call him false prophet.
you saying the standard to discern others is based on doctrine and teaching that lining up with God?
it seems like you're one of evangelical ministers and there are so many denominations or networks that have other doctrine and teaching on Holy Spirit and stuffs.

and because you don't understand and accept others' doctrine and teaching, you call them false? beyond that, Anti-Christ?? without knowing right definition of Anti-Christ?

Sorry I didn't reply to you until now. The evidence and material for Bob Jones' position as a false prophet is so widespread, I am surprised you have not "shown yourself approved" as God tells us to so you can "rightly divide the word." Bob Jones and his doctrines of false angels (Emma) are responsible for the debacle of Todd Bentley's Lakeland and his downfall into adultery and unrepentance and drunkeness. This is only one of thousands of examples of the fruit of Bob Jones ministry.
