I refused to get it, simply because of the craze over it. After I played it, I STILL refused to get it (I borrowed it) because BULLSHIT that made me get tired of games like Halo 3 and previous CoD games. It is simply the same thing with a shiny new cover.

Same here man, I did get mw2 but I knew it was way over hyped b4 I got it. I only did so I could play it with my bro. But I don't play it anymore. They half assed that game. I mean, IW should be embarrassed as hell. Look at mgs4, another war game but, with over 20 hours of story. Mgs4 has more hours of story in that one game then both cod4 and mw2 have in their games combined. Im just using mgs4 as an example bcuz Hideo K and his team actually know how to make a game. IW just wants money.

It doesnt matter, I can compare them because they are both video games. The standard single player game length is 12 to 2 hours. MW2 is not even close ot that. its pretty damn pathetic. But they figure you wont care because its got boring multiplayer to keep you busy or sidetracked from complaining about it.

its all opinion, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. I loved that they packed so much epic shit into it that it was about to explode. Multiplayer in this game is my favorite multiplayer of any game. I also think halo could be so much better though.

there is only three things i hate about MW2....the multiplayer levels get extremely repetitive (there aren't many) and.....i hate the auto-shotty, it can fire three shots in less than a second.....i also hate how some people can rejoin your private match regardless of being kicked out and wiith no invite. it happened to my friend while he was in a gb.

I think it'll be a great game and CoD4 was great but I'll probably save up to get Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and MAG even though MW2 has nicer maps just because BC2 and MAG have vehicles and larger numbers of players. Plus BC2 will have mostly destructible environments.

I got modern warfare 2 and uncharted 2 last night for my ps3. modern warfare 2 is amazing, i was afriad that it would be too difficult for me online because of all the hardcore cod gamers but i perform fairly average online so its not like your getting dominated if your not a hardcore gamer. The story mode is very short and should only take a few hours to complete. I have not played uncharted 2 yet but i whatched my brother play some. The graphics are very good on both games.

TRUST ME, for anyone who hasn't bought EA's Bad Company 1, go buy it NOW, it's only like $20 US greatest hits. EA was there to support PS3 when PSN had trophies implemented like late 08 and they would soon update just 3 months later. But I have no doubt MW2 will be bad, get both, just don't ignore the BAD COMPANY series, it's a great rival to Modern Warfare series. Can't wait for Bad company 2 either.

theres a work around to trophies. start campaign, 'save and quit', exit to xmb, delete the save data file not the data file (patch), start up again and trophies are there.
