@lionelkid456 TMTWQ takes place in the early 1960's. SD40-2s weren't introduced until 1972. I don't know what you're implying with this comment, but there are no SD40-2s in this video.
@lionelkid456 If you are referring to the engine @ 2:18, then that is a cho-nose GP9. These were built between 1954 and 1963, and are perfectly fine for the series.
@ronthecyborg I know this might sound silly, but is the route in this episode going to be released at all? Just curious if it was or not. I would also like to make a series like this but set up in Montana in the year 1959.
@Fireheart528 Sorry, but no. For a number of reasons:
1) I don't have the route anymore. It disappeared after a hard drive wipe.
2) The route really didn't have any operation potential. It was more of a film set than a layout. A lot of the tracks ended a few meters past the camera, and several didn't connect to any other tracks.
3) I don't remember who it making it, but there is a much better scrapyard route in development for Trainz. It is larger and has operation potential.
@ronthecyborg Thanks. Though whoever did it was really good at what he did. However, is it ok if I make a series myself similar to this? The route is available from ProTrainz, it's the MRL route and the year would be 1959. Similar plot line, but different situations. In yours, the diesels want to catch 3124 at all costs. Same type of plot, but the diesels in my series aren't that quick to scrap a steamer even if he is outdated and old.
@Engineer5344 saving while he was hitched would've put #3124 at a risk as well. Honestly, if he had gotten there about 10 seconds earlier, he would've attempted the rescue.
THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AS SD40-2'S IN 1950!?! >:( (i don't mean to be rude>)
