a question pertaining to your question - since you do not consider taking medicines that you feel are necessary to be breaking you're straight edge code, would you consider a person who uses psychedelics strictly for ritualistic spiritual purposes once every time the seasons change able to be straight edge since it is not using drugs recreationally, even though its illegal and a possible side effect is prolonged periods of laughter?
Probably, although it's not that clear. If they are taking enough drugs to have a drastic shift in mental state, it's probably not a good idea. If it was just a small amount, like the effects of one drink of alcohol to celebrate, then it would be less of a problem. I don't take doing illegal activities and losing your mind lightly!

Finasteride isn't a sufficient enough T blocker by itself, though it's excellent as a supplement to another such as spiro. Without suppressing T, E has a hard time doing all of it's work, except in cases where it is injected (possibly even when implanted?), or, of course, the testes are gone.
Does your estradiol come in a brand name estrofem?
