How do you go about acquiring jellyfish from an aquarium? I know you can purchase them online from certain companies. Do they sell them to you? By the way you have an amazing collection. Great job!
Great jelly video!!! They are such beautiful and haunting creatures....ghosts of the seas. The ones I've seen at Padre Island are purple...not sure what kind they are. The moon jellies are particularly beautiful, especially with bright light shining on them. "If there's a Heaven for me, I know it will have a beach attached to it."
They do not have a "brain" however they have the same nerve endings as humans, so in fact they do feel pain. Their reflexes are actually faster than most animals because they don't have to process information through a brain before reacting. In terms of emotions, how can you really prove that? however since they have no brain, i would think this is highly unlikely.
