Yes, he redeemed himself at the end, but that doesn't mean that he wasn't a horrible person for a good portion of his life. With that said - I like Vader very much as a character and a villain, but to say that he wasn't evil is just ridiculous.
He always had anger inside him. He was also too arrogant, stubborn and mistrustful, especially during the Clone Wars. All that led him to evilness. His love to Padme had nothing to do with it, cause to submerge completley to the Dark Side, you must give yourself up to utter egoism.

He was evil. At first he had anger issues but when he kept having dreams he didn't know who to turn to, to save Padme from child birth. Its his fault Padme died anyways, so the jedis shold have just told him better info because he only turned to the dark side because the dark side can supposely "save people from death".That was the bait right there when that old sith dude told him that. And thats why he turned evil. But in the end, he turns good and kills that stupid old wrinkly guy. I hate him.
Padme did not die because of him physically harming her, as is told by the little pregnancy robot on that station. She died because she could not live without him...very deep, I know, lol.
the jedi republic vs the darkside is a perfect example of real life emotions and how it works. the jedi are trained to focus on whats infront of them and they are trained to not fear, or act upon their emotions. they pack it and keep it buried. when you let your emotions out like anger, it collides with evil and you become evil. letting emotions get to you = release your anger, become evil, and act upon your anger. you act upon your emotions in real life and you end up dong evil things.

The lesson to be learned is that things are not black and white. You can't just label Anakin as "evil". The whole point of the saga is the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker, to show you how a good person can do evil things. Anakin is a tragic hero. It's like GL said, "the 'villian' is really the victim". Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader is not an "evil character", he's a tragic character, like Oedipus, Hamlet, and MacBeth. We sympathize with these characters because they are so dynamic and so human.

Okay. I loved the beginning, it was going great right up until you started doing voice-overs and changes in the music. I understand that the musical piece may not be long enough, but the voice-overs just ruin it. If I were you, I'd just splice pieces of the music to make it longer. Although, I have to say I really liked the metal version of the Imperial march, but maybe you should have put that at the credits?

i LOVE anakin!!!! he is so so so so so so so hott!!!! plus it made me cry in the 3 one how he turned evil and padme died and he got all burned!!! its soooooooo sad!!! the second is my favorite, and i like the 3 one but not how anakin turned evil. i like how anakin looks as a padawan. and i dont really like the originals (4-6) they r ok, but too many ship wars and i like seein the jedis fite.

you're absolutely right. About metallica, sure, but I ment about Lucas. Hes IDEAS are really good but unfortunately the movies could have been better. I'm not saying that star wars sucks, no, the storie is great but I'm a little dissapointed with episodes 1-2, especially 2.

Yes, he redeemed himself at the end, but that doesn't mean that he wasn't a horrible person for a good portion of his life. With that said - I like Vader very much as a character and a villain, but to say that he wasn't evil is just ridiculous.

He always had anger inside him. He was also too arrogant, stubborn and mistrustful, especially during the Clone Wars. All that led him to evilness. His love to Padme had nothing to do with it, cause to submerge completley to the Dark Side, you must give yourself up to utter egoism.

As for being most machine than man, I believe that refers more to а state of body than mind and personality - he had no limbs anymore, his lungs were burnt, but his brain was fine, so I think that he could felt all the emotions he had before Obi-Wan turned him to a crisp.

He was evil. At first he had anger issues but when he kept having dreams he didn't know who to turn to, to save Padme from child birth. Its his fault Padme died anyways, so the jedis shold have just told him better info because he only turned to the dark side because the dark side can supposely "save people from death".That was the bait right there when that old sith dude told him that. And thats why he turned evil. But in the end, he turns good and kills that stupid old wrinkly guy. I hate him.

Padme did not die because of him physically harming her, as is told by the little pregnancy robot on that station. She died because she could not live without him...very deep, I know, lol.

the jedi republic vs the darkside is a perfect example of real life emotions and how it works. the jedi are trained to focus on whats infront of them and they are trained to not fear, or act upon their emotions. they pack it and keep it buried. when you let your emotions out like anger, it collides with evil and you become evil. letting emotions get to you = release your anger, become evil, and act upon your anger. you act upon your emotions in real life and you end up dong evil things.

The lesson to be learned is that things are not black and white. You can't just label Anakin as "evil". The whole point of the saga is the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker, to show you how a good person can do evil things. Anakin is a tragic hero. It's like GL said, "the 'villian' is really the victim". Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader is not an "evil character", he's a tragic character, like Oedipus, Hamlet, and MacBeth. We sympathize with these characters because they are so dynamic and so human.

Okay. I loved the beginning, it was going great right up until you started doing voice-overs and changes in the music. I understand that the musical piece may not be long enough, but the voice-overs just ruin it. If I were you, I'd just splice pieces of the music to make it longer. Although, I have to say I really liked the metal version of the Imperial march, but maybe you should have put that at the credits?
