I absolutely love it. I just lost my Jocie, she was 13 in December, and she was my last one. I've had 4. I really miss her. Love looking at the video. Thanks for sharing. Gwen
@ChaosVsSerenity Patchez is the only one out of the five bassets that I have that will go in the water. The other four are too afraid. He loves swimming as well. I have a little floaty jacket so he doesnt sink.
@Kemigi hahahahahah! when my basset was a puppy we held her over the pool and she wasnt even touching the water and her feet were going fast as a roadrunner! ahhaaha it was fo funny!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, he is barking at the sprinkler but the camera that I was using at the time was very old and the sound no longer worked on it. There for I added the music to have some kind of sound. I wish that people could hear how happy he was.
I love these dogs, makes me a bit sad since losing my Basset some years ago, but the video just shows what an amazing experience it is to have one in your life, they are such characters.

Your so lucky that he loves water. My 14 year old basset won't even go close to a over filled water dish for fear her paws will get wet. : (

Is he barking at the sprinkler? If he is, you shouldn't have the music over it, that is hilarious!! Our basset Freckles barks at everything too!!!

Basset Hounds are just the BEST DOGS IN THE WORLD, so soft, loving and affectionate! I have two pups and had Bassets all my life and adore them!

That is cute. Mine can't stand the getting wet from the hose or sprinkler but love jumping into the nice warm shower.
