  • What's that scene in which Saruman is loudly speaking at the peak of Orthanc? Is it at the Extended Version? I don't remember seeing it...

  • Amazing!!!!!!

  • Perhaps there's a possibility we are going to see a balrog in the hobbit ?? :D

  • not what i was looking for, but a good vid none the less xD

  • the balrog is older than time

  • balgor is possibly the coolest demon out.

  • This is one of the few music videos that do not suck. Great job!

  • Whoever created the Balrog character for the movie should've been given a frakkin award. When I seen that that in action for the 1st time, I was like OH *#@! that is some damn good movie magic!

  • I wanna see Gothmog vs sauron

  • I'm just getting into the mythology. So a Balrog(s) serve Melkor, who was the original Bad-guy before Sauron?

So when Gandalf means 'ancient world' we're talking 1000s of years? When Arda was first formed?

  • @technologic21

both when Arda was formed/new and later on, during the first era, i think. Definetly not later than that, besides Durin's bane below Moria that re-surfaced during the late third era

  • The best part i find when Gandalf says ruun because before that it was just calm and when he says it there comes movement in =D

  • WOW!

  • Me likes 1:25 =O

  • Holy shit!!!

  • looks like a game trailer...

    A DAMN GOOD ONE!!

  • The Feared Balrog of Morgoth wreathed in shadow and flame!

  • "...from the lowest dungeons to the highest peak I fought the Balrog of Morgoth, until at least I threw down my enemy and smote his ruins upon the mountain side..."

    epic

  • This is one of the few videos where the new music actually fits the video!

  • what was the sword he used to fight balrog? ineed it to beat a monster in modas magic...

  • The Balrog and the Witch King of Angmar are the best of the villains of the movies, they both present fear and danger

  • is it true that the Balrog can take any element, cause I saw in the Edain mod for the BFME 2 ROTWK that the wich king summoned a Balrog with the Ice element

  • @jaspertheking4life A Balrog was a tall, menacing being in the shape of a Man, having control of both fire and shadow. Contrary to popular opinion (further forwarded by Peter Jackson's trilogy), Balrogs are not engulfed in flame. They are, in fact, characterised by darkness, and the fire connection is internal rather than external as it plunges through the fires of Moria, although Durin's Bane, the Balrog that appears in Moria breathes fire from its nostrils.

  • that was really well put together. Very cool :)

  • lol think what would have happened if sauron knew that there was still a balrog then he could have won the war because officially he was morgoths 2nd in command together with gothmog so the balrogs are loyal to him

  • great video better than all the other crap you find circling around

  • The Balrog---an ancient demon from hell who is full of terror. Yep---Peter Jackson was at his best when he made this villanious character.

  • Nice

  • That balrog was the last one.

  • @lotrfan0123 The balrogs of morgoth are demigods or gods right ? and how many are left in middle earth?

  • @MultiKillerBo Yes, they are Maia who allied themselves with Melkor during the Music of the Ainur. Tolkien never stated the exact number, but there were at least 7 in existence; Gothmog the Lord of the Balrogs, the Balrog which fought with Glorfindel, Durin's Bane (this one), and others who fled underground.

  • @MultiKillerBot tolkien once said that they were armies of balrogs wich invaded gondolin so they can be betwen 100 and 1000 and Durins Bane was posible the last one

  • @campusservant huh thanks for that

  • @campusservant Yes, there were many more of them in his earlier writings, but later on they became actual Maiar, and far more powerful beings than they originally were meant to be. Christopher Tolkien said there were "at most 7" but I think there were more. We know 5 were killed during the sacking of Gondolin alone.

  • @lotrfan0123

I wonder if the armies of balrogs were "lesser" balrogs or something, while Durin's Bane and the other 7 were "greater" balrogs serving as captains or lords within morgoth's army. If thats the case, then there may be several more hiding deep within the earth.

  • @lotrfan0123 i think its said that the Balrogs are the sons of Morgoth and his daughters are in middleearh tooo( Kankra is one of them)

  • @campusservant ok so I am re reading the hobbit right now and gandalf gets his sword glamdring and thorin his sword and bilbo sting that are originally from gondolin acording to elrond but I am confused as to were gondolin was located and what was so amazing about it. and wow and army of balroges would really suck

  • @Arwen8584 Gondolin was located in Beleriand a land that only existed in the years of the lamps, the years of the trees and the first age. It was destroyed in the War of the Wrath. So in the time of the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit not even the place where Gondolin once stood existed. And I belived there was a army of many Balrogs for at least 7 died in the fall of Gondolin and there were many maiar that Morgoth corrupted possibly most of them becomed Balrogs

  • @MultiKillerBot the one that gandalf killed was the last one and btw balrogs are spirits of the maia who take on a demonic form (they where seduced by morgoth just like sauron)

  • Amazing and great work

    5/5

    goes to my group :D

  • You are one of the best video makers about Lord of the Rings Feanor. ;-)

I am sure every one will get better and better. Nice effects!

  • Great video and has perfect music but only problem is it has Gandalf at the end like the video is all about Gandalf.

  • As the description says, " I never realised just how little screen time this character was given". I used practically every moment of the film in which the Balrog was in it. Gandalf was the cause of his death, so I ended it with him.

  • Epic... As always. Great work ;)

  • dude, amazing!! Favorited!

p.s- What software do u use and where do u get the clips?
