Really enjoyed this clip, I was a Letterpress Comp in 1976 and followed the trade to Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw, Pagemaker and still love it today as much as I did back in 1976, thank you for the clip.
Coated one side is pretty good and I use 15pt and you need to allow a bit more time to dry on coated paper.
I use oil based ink purchased from Oldham Group in Ft Worth, TX
Drying time can be 2-3 hours for small coverage and overnight for large coverage. Also, if you use coated paper is could take 6-8 hours and less for uncoated paper since the ink is being absorbed into the sheet.
Thanks for sharing your process! I've been working at home, getting a linocut ready and fretting over some of the details, in regard how it will work on the letterpress. Your visuals really helped me out!

Amazing, i am really looking forward to getting linoleum and movable type together now! :D
However... one question
How is the blue plate done? I am guessing not in linoleum because carving a halftone... Photolithography maybe?

@pcoitinho
Photopolymer plate, he says in the video.

Awesome video, I love the finished product. Wish I could work with something like the metal plate you have with the car on it.

I use uncoated paper, 60 lb - 100 lb cover.
