I stayed after I did my own research, grew my own testimony and I continue to nurture that to this day. The more I learn of the scriptures and of Jesus Christ, the more I desire to be like Him. I know that God requires His children to have a significant measure of faith. When all the evidence pours in, indeed, faith will not be required at that point, for it will be factual. That day will come and many clues along the trails have been recovered already. TheBackyardProfessor has shared many findings consistent with ancient writings of that day, along with many other gospel scholars. Why is is so hard to believe that the heavens remain open;God wants all His children to have the Word.

Can science teach you how to raise the dead? Can science tell you how Jesus walked on the water? Can science understand resurrection?

Thank you for your comment. I've told some personal events/stories of things that have happened to me in my life over and over too. Everytime I do, it comes out differently because I may recall different things about it, without having notes nearby to remind me of every little detail. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John also tell the same story, but from their perspectives. Makes perfect sense to me to have many versions, the combination of which gives a real depth of what really happened. Welcome.

Elder Joseph knows why the five brothers were not awakened. All he has to do is read the Bible and the account of the vision of the Apostle Paul. None of the men around him saw the vision that Paul saw. And that was broad daylight.
