The reason for this is because after the 300 its has to been certain kinds of views so if you watched your own or used bots they will get stuck the only way to fix it by making up the fake views with real views so youtube looks into it to find out so they freeze it it may take long because there are so many new views on youtube so they are trying to see

I'll tell ya what.Youtube has gotten very big, very commercial, and very self serving. Which is what a business needs to do to survive. So, while it becomes less and less small user friendly, it's losing that community feeling. Just becoming something different.

I hang on for the community that I've felt a part of since 2006. Even as it dwindles...

no i think youtube freezes views when they see the individual getting a large amount of views.. so its either they dont want you to get a lot of views and get known on youtube or they will cut you views.. instead of you geting 1000 you will get like 500.. you wont know the difference..

I believe what freezes our videos is many views from the same ip address. So if you watch your own video over and over again. That looks suspicious. so, It will be frozen then. Who really knows though. Youtube never really fully explains anything! =)

Back when this was made the views always stopped in the two hundreds. Now they have uped it to the three hundreds. It's what you tube does to stop false view counts. If there are a lot of views from the same ip address they automatically freeze it. It will start up again. But, unfortunatly, you'll never recover the views that were not counted. It sucks.....

They said it means they are using Ghostmouse2.0, a macro runner that can memorize mouse clicks and you replay it, they use it in gaming but people are using it to flag videos down.

Yes, of course I've read youtubes blog post. And, of course I've noticed a drop in views. I've been here since the beginning. It used to be nothing to get high views. Ans now it's downright impossible!

For people, such as myself, it's not that big a deal. I do this for the creative outlet, and not necessarily for a huge viewership. But, in the same breath, it's hard to gauge your performance, when the video count is inaccurate.

I have explored other venues. But, so far I find youtube has been the easiest for this old fart to figure out and run with. So, for me, making fun of it is a better release than to get too up in arms about it. But, I do agree, youtube is making it hard for people to succeed at gaining popularity here anymore. The best one was our last vid This Broken Heart we loaded it on CDmagz channel for them...you guessed it it froze at 201...at one point it had a 100 more rates than views...only on YT...its moving now, but they are a YT partner and they donate everything they make to charity...would love to know what the actual view count is.
