I work at Ticketmaster and all orders over the ticket limit were cancelled and the tix were re-released at cost ($64.00 tops). tickets bought from anyone else were useless

because you had to prove you were the original buyer to get into the concert.

This is exactly what happened to me! I was going to buy tickets. I was going to buy the tickets at 2:30 p.m. (they just went on sale at 10:00 a.m.) and they were already sold out. Now there are a bunch of scalpers on the internet selling them for like $500!

Why are people freaking out over this? All events get scalped like this and are sold on eBay and Stub Hub. The outdoor hockey game in Buffalo on New Years Day sold out a 40,000 seat football stadium in just a few minutes due to scalpers. I say try to see Hannah Montana a few years from now and tickets will be much easier to come by as she is just a teenybopper act...

Thanks for posting this Buzz. I just want to know when criminal charges can be applied. As that other soccer mom say, I too thought scalping was illegal. Someone's working the system big time, and I seriously doubt it's being done legally.

They should set up a second show and make tickets available only to parents and small groups. IMHO. :-)
