Wii commercials show a bunch of hip teenagers playing with the new Nintendo remote, and about 3 seconds of the games themselves. This is because Nintendo have nothing to show. Is it truly worth paying for an updated Gamecube with a gimmicky remote that loses its novelty? I'm not here to preach, but to warn against mindless loyalty that costs consumers, merely for the fact that it is made by Nintendo. I just ask, would you buy this system if it were manufactured by Sony, or Microsoft?

Sure, the graphics are good, and if thats all you want from a game then go ahead and pay the money. Yet don't think that a game needs good graphics to be great. If I based all my opinons about game around graphics, then duck hunt, old school super mario, contra, metal slug, and many other old titles would have been lame. Yet they're not. I might buy a PS3 later when they actually have decent games, till then i'll save my cash. Don't call people stupid without using intellect to debate.

What i love about the Wii previews, is that you actually see game play and not a bunch of cut scenes like PS3 has done. The previews of PS3 actual game graphics are not that great. Atleast not worth $600.

The graphics are not what make a game great, it's the gameplay and the thought going into the development of it. The graphics are only the outer beauty.
