OMG! some people really cannot accept the true beauty of singing. and half the people who claim she is the "best" apparently have a very dull taste in music. she is not a bad singer but can use a ton of improvement. her tone is just way off in this rendidition, she was quite pitchy, and her breathe support was awful! it sounds breathy and as if she struggled to hit every other note. whats so good about the other singers who make it into an "R&B thing" is that they give off EMOTION. this sucked!

Every time I hear a woman sing this song, and sing it beautifully, I think how great it is we have evolved as people from the teachings of the bible. Breathy. sounds like a little girl at the beginning. heavy breathing. voice changes from "little girl voice" to "sex kitten voice" to "grown woman voice" and back and forth. she missed an intro. she sounds scared of the song. Needs more dynamics. except for mistakes. a sweet version. needs polish. nerves a problem

However, for many, it's also a very worshipful seasonal song with lyrics that remind us of why the cause for celebration. As such, versions by Jewel and Celine seem to do that (best).

Every one acknowledges that Christ was born and died on the cross. The questions is whether he was the son of God and our savior. Dear God, are you guys all kidding? If she was some girl from a small town singing this at her local church choir service I'd say yeah, nice voice. But as a professional singer, it's a joke! her voice is thin as paper, the whole performance is an exercise in mediocrity!
