i have a question. i cant change the colors in the colour boxes and everytime i try to do it it becomes gray. i think its something to do wth the gradient tool but there's no tutorial on how to undo it. and my text dont show either.

should i get cs4? i have cs3 installed at the moment. the reason i am asking this is because i have watched a lot of tutorial vids and they say this and that certain feature is missing in cs4, and that i have to download certain plugins to restore some functionality present in the older versions. is it worth the trouble?

@coolestdudeakshat This video is about cs4 for Mac. Macs are good for graphic design work. Tho I use a custom built PC for work, graphic design and gaming.
