  • also, some places do not actually use LASERS but instead use an IPL which is illegal to advertise LASER hair removal but they do it anyway.. make sure you ask about this BEFORE getting it done because you can have HORRIBLE scarring if you tan, etc.. just a few things i wanted 2 point out because yes, its a great deal but not if it's shiiity service!! you have already had yours done but hopefully any1 who reads this will be better informed than you were from that place

  • also, you said that an area she did will not need to be done again & that is wrong.. even if the hair is not growing back now, it most likely will & since you shave before treatment she can not tell that there is no hair there & *IF* she is actually doing her job without cutting corners she will not skip ANY spots.. when using a good razor, there will be some spots that feel like they have been waxed so skipping any spot is a big no no!! .

  • i wana inform u of a few things.. this is long so i have 2 make multiple comments but 1st i noticed u sai you went 2 a place with horrible reviews & after hearing you speak im pretty sure i kno y they have them. it seems the've misinformed you of quite a few major details! 3 sessions will NOT b enough for adequate hair reduction! hairs grow in stages which is why u wait 6-8 wks between treatments. it'll take a minimum of 4 treatments & thats very unlikely cus most people need atleast 6-8!

  • @SugarBratCam Thanks for the info, Aura uses ELOS lasers which are not IPL. I will be looking in to how IPL can be damaging because I've had treatments on my face with no problems. As I discussed in one of my update videos, the hair in places that I thought was completely bald did grow back before my second treatment. It's good for people to remember there is a level of risk associated with laser treatments, so thank you again!

  • I left 4-5 weeks between each treatment maybe it wasn't enough but the clinic had set up the time frame for me. let me know how it goes for you!

  • I had 5 brizilian sessions in summer 2011, at the beginning it was great I also had lots of shedding but same as yours I also noticed stripes of hair specially as you go inner and lower the area. anyways after 5 sessions I stopped and surprisingly something about 70% of the hair has grown back since then. For me it didn't worth it, lots of pain and $1200 (CND).

  • @samiraba1 so i'm guessing you wouldn't do it again? i thought it was suppose to be permanent?

  • Hey @samiraba1, thanks for watching and commenting. You mentioned getting five treatments during the summer. If you don't mind my asking, how many weeks did you leave between sessions? I ask because it has been three months since my second treatment and I just now feel ready for another session.

  • I'm about to get this done! :) This has really helped. My appointment is tomorrow and I also bought this deal off of Groupon. It was $299 for 1 year of unlimited treatments on either 3 small areas, 1 small & 1 medium area, or 1 large area. I'm getting my brazilian and underarms done. I will definitely take a Tylenol on my way to the clinic. Wish me luck! Great video btw.
