New footage shown in E3 2009. Seems to be quite scary and atmospheric. Great. But the release date is still far away. In spring 2010. Bummer.

Remedy and Microsof missed the opportunity to show us something in Game Developers Conference 2009 in San Fransisco.

Maybe they will show us something in E3 2009. But then again, so will many others.

What Remedy and/or Microsoft fail to understand is this: If the game is good enough, then hype would not ruin it. I begin to feel stupid, because I have waited this game for so long.

Microsoft have said that they have a trick up their sleeve for E3 this year. Im pretty sure it's Alan Wake.

I also wanted some info at GDC, but Remedy has a plan, and i trust it's a good one. The game is comming, you just have to wait until E3 =)

Remedy is amazingly silent. ive been following this game and whenever i ask others aboiut it, the say "what the heck is alan wake"

If it's not finnished soon the graphics are dated before it's released. Still the story and the gameplay is way more important than the special effects. So I hope thei're not rushing it. But man, I'm starting to get impatient! ;)

Still no information about this game. It may not be even 2008 title. I think that it is wrong that they will not release any information about this game. Listen to me Remedy and Microsoft. Give us something.

I agee... all the trailers, clips, stills etc is from 2006! Do they want to create a hype or do they want people to loose interest. I don't know :/

Remedy is the developer. Microsoft has offered some resources for this game. Both have been quiet about this game for over six months. That is odd. Little information probably wouldn't hurt.

Actually it says in this footage that Alan Wake is not like Resident Evil or Silent Hill games, because the atmosphere is created in a different way. It is at times even dreamlike and it is not based on, for example, zombies that chase. Bright Falls is the fictional town in this game. It oozes the spririt of the TV series Twin Peaks and the inspiration comes from Pacific Northwest area, more specifically from Washington. The whole game area is vast, about 100 sq kilometers (about 39 sq miles).
