Frank O'Connor has a real understanding for the HALO franchise, and this video just further confirms the faith I have in his abilities as Franchise Director of the entire Halo brand. He also knows what made people fall in love with Halo in the first place, and it was this game; its exploration, the ambience, and the overall experience. This game always felt like more than just a run and gun shooter, and I could not be more excited for Halo 4 after witnessing this, he knows what Halo is.

Actually the firefight map is the final stop where you get the last squad of marines, not the first place.

ever since halo 2 ive missed the sound of the assault rifle. it sounded really powerful! and the pistol from CE was a badboy, powerful sound and very deadly. in halo 2 and later games it was not so much deadly and the sound made it feel like a soft air gun.

There's one firefight map, and 7 forge maps, i got it for christmas frm my amazing parents, It's mazing! it's an extention of halo: reach so when you get it you can type in a code that the game comes with and all the maps the game comes with will be on the reach multiplayer! And i must say, well done!

i was thinking it might be cool that when you switch to classic mode, the weapon from the original halo would be there. for example, when he said that there was a rocket launcher behind the waterfall in the original halo, you can go there, switch to classic mode and pick up the launcher. could be something like a gift for original halo players if you know where all the secret weapons are!

the firefight map looks more like the survivors refugee which is located to the left, right after you go through the underground tunnel in your warthog, where as Frank O' Connor was reffering the firefight map to the very fist survivor refugee you run into.

So far the game is pretty terrible I my opinion. There are glitches where I fall through the ground and go through walls, the plasma grenades explosion radius is higher than before, I've gotten shot and killed through walls numerous times, and random things that aren't dangerous are killing me.

Sadly, I had high hopes for this game.

The Firefight map is not of the "first defensive position until your warthog arrives only radically different in firefight mode" as he says but from the campaign its the exact replica of the last pick-up position at the end of level where you get picked-up and beat that level. Only upgraded graphics and closed off. I wonder how a guy a part of the creater team missed that.

I feel so awesome being able to say that my best friend and I absolutely fucked over Legendary Campaign on Halo 1 and Halo 2. I mean... man... those games were so fun compared to the stuff today, it wasn't so revolved around "Kill, killstreak, die, kill, killstreak, die" (AKA: Every FPS Game on the Xbox market at the moment...) in which, you naturally become frustrated for "losing your 'precious' killstreak".
