But with all due respect to real 'Eisenhower' conservatives,
it's actually pretty horrible to watch Rupert Murdock, a foreigner (Australia), use Fox to down the one of the two most venerated, distinguished and once viable political parties in the United States. Is this unprecedented? When has a foreign business mogul had such a destructive effect on an American political party- and the whole American politcal system for that matter- previously in our country's history?
""rangle"..."waxman"..."miller" the distinguished members who helped work on this historic legislation"..."so here we are...for nearly a century"..."here we are, on the verge of making affordable quality healthcare available for all Americans..."
If you don't want the pubic option, don't buy it. Stay with what you have. If you're turning down the public option health insurance 'on principle', great! We can assume you'll also be returning your unemployment insurance and social security as socialist and constitutionally incorrect. Thanks!
So you've read the bill, huh? And it says you don't have to buy the public option? Where? Pages ...? I'd like to know. And where does it say your private insurance will not be stopped? Pages....?
I'll let you do the footwork. I'm too busy working time and overtime to pay the taxes that fund your government checks.
'Option' means 'Option' as in 'Optional', as in 'your choice', in this case, stay with what you have, or if it looks better to you, choose to change to the public option for you health insurance. Like choosing the Post Office over UPS/FedEx.
Fox is blinding you to the fact of this: You still have the same choices plus one more: The Public Option.
fyi, read pages 90-96 and tell me where it says you will be able to keep your own insurance unless that insurance stays exactly the same...meaning if it tries to adapt to any market changes because of the Pelosi plan, it will become null/void and you HAVE to be moved over to the national healthcare plan.
You are never 'forced' onto the Public Option, market forces affect everyone's insurance all the time, the Public Option is just one more option in the marketplace. 'Truth, or hypocrisy' sounds like a biblical battle of principles, which it isn't. It makes sense for everyones taxpayer dollars to be leveraged to lower costs. Why give such absolute power to Big Insurance Corporations by limiting the options available to taxpayers?
This asshole is does not have the Constituional authority to confiscate the property and liberty of it's citizens in the name of "healthcare reform" and send the IRS after those who do not wish to comply with this Socialist takeover !

So does that sound like "option" to you?
Here's where the rubber meets the road dude.
Truth. Or hypocrisy.
