This group(The Hot Band) with Emmy Lou is legendary. Yes she has played with anybody that can play ,but I watched this band burn Thenver Auditorium down.Poor Jimmy Buffett had to try and Margaritaville his way past The Hottest country band that has probably ever played! I love you Jimmy but Emmy's band left your band looking very bad that night.
An angel walks among us. We were all young then, but we couldn't sing (or look) like that. How very moving- heartbreaking, really, and in a good way. Truth is like that.
@slownoman As we walk on the path of life towards the resting place in the ground at the end of it, we slowly lose illusions of our youth years about the goodness of humankind. We see and discern the darkness of greed and of contempt towards the others in the souls of so many, the reign of injustice and the mistreatment of those that are weak, we see violence and wars. In this darkness that the mankind has made, in this imperfect world God, to sustain life, acts through His created instruments.

Through these instruments, the little flames of life, these souls that He made, He teaches us by way of the truth and of the beauty about the goodness of life. He shows us His kingdom.
