I am sure God has forgiven me for voting against G H W Bush (41) but boy did I make a mistake when I voted against this great leader in 1992. He made a huge mistake, however, when he nominated Suter to the Court.
:42, bring excellence to government, when will we ever do that? We'll never have excellence period if we continue to be destroyed by the failed two party system. Who cares Bush or Obama? No comment
Actually, given the Jonestown death toll references, sounds more like late 1978 (on the bumpers, the way the synth music was edited was circa '78). As well as the early 1980 Bush ad.
I have the same tape this came from, wonder who the hell put it together? Seems like they had hours of tape but just copied certain commercials individually; rather annoying to see a few frames of other stuff they decided not to include.

George Bush (I and II): a dismal failure.
George Bush: He'll invade Panama with lies after having funneled lots of drugs to his friend Noriega.
George Bush: He'll waste military spending on an unnecessary war against Saddam out of baseless fears of him "taking over" the Middle East.
George Bush: He brought shame, not excellence, to government.

It's the same as "Excellence in
Broadcasting" (Rush Limbaugh).
But the dictionary word for it is "Excrement" in Govt and broadcasting both.

George Bush did not run in 76. Ford's only republican challenger was Reagan. Bush ran against Reagan in 80 in primaries.
